Mahindra partners with Angle Auto Finance. Mahindra Automotive Australia has announced a strategic partnership with Angle Auto Finance, effective immediately, designed to enhance value and convenience for customers while supporting the brand's expanding national dealer network. The collaboration provides Mahindra's dealer partners with access to comprehensive business finance solutions including bailment, capital loans and equipment finance facilities. Dealers will also benefit from industry-leading business performance training through Angle Edge, virtual business manager support for regional locations, and dedicated relationship managers focused on growing business opportunities. Retail customers will experience streamlined access to finance solutions through a digital application system offering instant decisioning and rapid settlements, aimed at creating a smoother car-buying process. Ankit Taneja, National Manager at Mahindra Automotive Australia, says the partnership reflects the company's customer-first approach and supports its growing vehicle portfolio. "This collaboration is designed to provide customers across metro and regional areas with a transparent and convenient buying experience, backed by competitive and tailored finance options," Taneja says. The partnership comes as Mahindra continues to expand its Australian presence with vehicles including the XUV700 premium SUV, which combines advanced safety features and performance, and the newly launched XUV 3XO, tailored for young families and urban lifestyles. These models join the rugged Scorpio SUV in offering customers options spanning lifestyle, urban and off-road preferences. Angle Auto Finance currently partners with more than 750 dealerships nationwide and has helped over 240,000 Australians access vehicle finance through its dealer network since launching in March 2022. The company describes itself as Australia's fastest-growing independent automotive financier. Mahindra views the arrangement as extending beyond a standard business partnership, representing a shared commitment to building long-term customer relationships and delivering comprehensive ownership experiences from purchase through to after-sales support. The Mahindra Group, founded in 1945, operates across more than 100 countries with 260,000 employees and holds leadership positions in farm equipment, utility vehicles, information technology and financial services in India.
Stalker - referring to transactions in 2021, when Allied Credit acquired Macquarie Bank's auto dealer finance business, and Westpac sold its auto finance business to Angle Auto Finance - asserted that this was a positive aspect as the pools were being managed by specialists.
