Aptean has launched Equipment DMS, a cloud-native dealer management system powered by its agentic AI platform AppCentral and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. The system unifies sales, rentals, service and parts operations for equipment dealers on a single platform. Built on experience with over 7,000 active users across 550 locations, the system uses AI agents to address workflow challenges including damage repair estimates, asset specifications and cross-selling opportunities. Key features include end-to-end rental management and mobile capabilities for capturing asset conditions and documentation. The platform runs on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, offering enterprise-grade security and integration with Microsoft 365 apps. Aptean has acquired OpsVeda, an enterprise software company specialising in operational intelligence and AI-driven automation, to enhance its Logility Supply Chain Planning and Execution Platform with end-to-end agentic orchestration capabilities. OpsVeda's patented command centre platform provides predictive visibility and prescriptive actions across order fulfilment, supply, manufacturing, logistics, inventory, assets and retail channels. The technology aims to make operations more agile, resilient and profitable through real-time operational intelligence. The acquisition will bring OpsVeda's capabilities to customers across consumer-packaged goods, food and beverage, fashion, retail, industrial manufacturing and high-tech industries. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
