Overview

Aragon builds open-source software to create and govern decentralized autonomous organizations on Ethereum. Its main product, the Aragon App, is a no-code interface to launch a DAO, mint a governance token, and manage community proposals. For developers, aragonOS provides a modular smart-contract framework that separates governance logic into plugins with granular permissions, enabling adaptable governance models. The platform serves a range of users from small communities to large protocols (such as Lido and Polygon). Aragon differentiates itself by offering a full-stack on-chain governance stack with a token-based voting layer (ANT) and an ecosystem that includes the Aragon Network and Aragon Foundation. The goal is to enable transparent, secure, and scalable on-chain governance and to grow a decentralized governance network through its ecosystem.
