Working alongside GKN Aerospace, regulators and local stakeholders, Arcwood led environmental response efforts INDIANAPOLIS, July 16, 2026 /PRNewswire/ - Arcwood Environmental (Arcwood), working alongside GKN Aerospace, regulatory agencies and local stakeholders, has completed key environmental response activities at GKN Aerospace's Garden Grove, California facility. As GKN Aerospace's environmental response partner, Arcwood provided the specialized expertise required to safely manage hazardous materials, reduce risk and support the facility's path forward, while maintaining a strong focus on protecting workers, the surrounding community and the environment. The work included the safe removal, transportation, treatment and disposal of neutralized methyl methacrylate (MMA) from two unaffected storage tanks at the facility. Throughout the response, Arcwood worked in close coordination with GKN Aerospace and partners to support a safe, compliant, and carefully managed removal and preservation effort. Arcwood Environmental opens new headquarters in Indianapolis. Arcwood has operated in Indianapolis for 56 years and employs more than 400 people across central Indiana. Published July 01, 2026 | Updated June 30, 2026 Arcwood Environmental, a waste management and environmental services company, has opened new corporate headquarters in Indianapolis. Arcwood says the new 43,000-square-foot facility brings nearly 200 employees together in a modern workspace and reinforces the company's commitment to Indianapolis. Arcwood has operated in Indianapolis for 56 years and employs more than 400 people across central Indiana. The company says its headquarters project incorporated sustainability-focused design practices, including the reuse of furnishings and building materials from the previous tenant, diversion of usable materials from landfills, elimination of many single-use products and energy-efficient facility upgrades. Formerly known as Heritage Environmental Services, Arcwood rebranded in 2025. The company says it helps customers manage hazardous and industrial waste and emerging environmental challenges. In addition to its new corporate headquarters, the company operates two facilities in the greater Indianapolis area. Arcwood says the new headquarters were designed to bring employees together, encourage collaboration and create a workspace that reflects the company's investment in its people.
