Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • Q2 2026 revenue rose 9.5% to $3.45 billion; EPS beat 23.7%.
  • May 2026 T-Mobile, Xfinity, and Verizon launches accelerated mobile subscriber growth.
  • Assurant raised 2026 outlook after record Q1, then kept repurchases near $350 million.

What critics are saying

  • T-Mobile concentration remains brutal; one renewal loss would hit Global Lifestyle immediately.
  • Global Housing still depends on catastrophe timing; a hurricane-heavy 2026 compresses margins.
  • Carrier insourcing at T-Mobile or Verizon would sever Assurant's core growth engine.

What makes Assurant unique

  • Assurant embeds protection, trade-in, repair, and logistics inside carrier workflows.
  • T-Mobile, Xfinity Mobile, Verizon, and Best Buy expand Assurant's distribution moat.
  • Its 66 million protected mobile devices create scale competitors struggle to replicate.
