Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • Attovia priced its August 4, 2026 IPO at $17, raising $289 million.
  • The IPO plus cash supports operations into 2029, funding multiple clinical milestones.
  • Board additions on July 15, 2026 and strong demand signal institutional backing after listing.

What critics are saying

  • ATTO-1310 still faces human proof-of-concept risk; failure kills the platform story by 2027.
  • ATTO-2306 collides with Sanofi and Regeneron’s Dupixent, squeezing differentiation and pricing power.
  • Post-IPO expectations into 2029 depend on successful Phase 2 data; misses force dilution.

What makes Attovia unique

  • ATTOBODY’s biparatopic nanobodies attack two sites, targeting GPCRs and cytokines other biologics miss.
  • Attovia’s pipeline spans pruritus, atopic dermatitis, and IBD, not a single-disease story.
  • The Alamar worldwide license gives Attovia exclusive platform rights and proprietary engineering leverage.

Goldman Sachs and venBio hold 5%+ stakes in Attovia after $105M Series B

Attovia Therapeutics has disclosed that Venbio Global Strategic Fund IV and Goldman Sachs-affiliated entities each hold 5% or greater stakes in the company. This follows Attovia's oversubscribed $105 million Series B financing round, led by Goldman Sachs Alternatives with participation from venBio and other investors. Since launching in June 2023, Attovia has raised $165 million in total. The Series B proceeds will advance lead programmes ATTO-1310 and ATTO-002 through initial clinical readouts and further develop its ATTOBODY platform. Goldman Sachs Alternatives appointed Colin Walsh to Attovia's board of directors. VenBio has been a consistent investor since Attovia's inception. The increased ownership reflects investor confidence in Attovia's pipeline and proprietary platform for developing bi-specific therapeutics targeting immune-mediated diseases.
