Audinate provides professional audio and video networking solutions centered on the Dante platform that distributes uncompressed digital signals with low latency over standard Ethernet. It licenses Dante technology to OEMs who embed it into professional AV gear such as microphones, speakers, amplifiers, and consoles, generating revenue from hardware chips/modules and software licenses. It offers software like Dante Controller for routing and configuration and Dante Virtual Soundcard to connect a computer to a Dante network, and is expanding into video over IP with Dante AV for a unified AV network. Its goal is to enable scalable, reliable AV networking across broadcast, installation, live sound, and recording by growing adoption of Dante and Dante AV across hardware and software.

Disney+ to stream Men's and Women's NCAA March Madness across Europe, South Africa. 12/03/2026 Disney has announced the addition of March Madness - the NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Basketball Tournaments - to its live sports lineup across Europe and South Africa, expanding ESPN's global NCAA rights agreement onto the Disney platform. Disney customers can watch all 134 NCAA tournament games live as part of their Disney subscription. Bringing March Madness to Disney customers across Europe reflects the ongoing collaboration between ESPN and the NCAA, and the commitment both organizations share to grow college basketball internationally, says Diego Londono, SVP Networks & Sports EMEA at The Walt Disney Company. ESPN's decades of experience showcasing championship moments allows us to foster greater appreciation for collegiate athletics, and we're thrilled to help connect more fans to the passion and tradition of the men's and women's tournaments on Disney. Collaborating with ESPN and Disney allows us to share the excitement of March Madness with a global audience that already values college basketball, says Dan Gavitt, NCAA Senior Vice President of Basketball. The NCAA tournament is the ultimate stage for student-athletes, and broadening access to that experience helps grow appreciation for and interest in the game worldwide. The expansion draws on ESPN's NCAA rights portfolio - which includes more than 40 championship events - and reflects the integration of college sports across The Walt Disney Company platforms. ESPN has been the exclusive broadcaster of Women's March Madness for over three decades. March Madness joins Disney 's European sports lineup alongside the UEFA Women's Champions League, UEFA Europa League and UEFA Europa Conference League in Denmark and Sweden, and LALIGA in the UK and Ireland. 05/01/2027. Audinate debuts Dante Director Professional. Published 5 March 2026 [USA] Audinate has announced the launch of Dante Director Professional, 'a comprehensive web-based management solution designed for remote management of any size AV installation - from 50 devices to many thousands'. The software solution addresses the growing challenge of maintaining distributed AV infrastructure at scale by providing centralised monitoring, management, and security authentication capabilities. As organisations expand their AV footprints across campuses, office buildings, and global facilities, managing a large number of networked devices has become increasingly complex. Dante Director Professional delivers 'an easily accessible solution that enables IT and AV teams to monitor device health, diagnose issues remotely, and ensure systems remain operational without requiring on-site presence'. "Organisations are deploying both large and widespread Dante-enabled AV systems at unprecedented scale," said Laurence Crew, product manager at Audinate. "Dante Director Professional gives technical teams the tools they need to manage these distributed networks efficiently while maintaining the security and reliability that mission-critical communication systems demand." Early adopters of Dante Director Professional have reported better insight into their Dante networks. "At Rutgers University - New Brunswick, we support close to 300 general-purpose classes and learning environments across four campuses spread over 12 miles, and Dante Director Professional is an invaluable tool for remote monitoring and diagnosis of our AV systems," says Ed Rebert, AV systems manager at Rutgers. "This tool is so valuable to us." "Dante Director Professional gives us full control over our global Dante network from one place," says Aljohn Mogol, Sr. AV engineer at Spotify. "This is a huge win because many of our remote offices don't have any AV/IT staff on-site, but we can still monitor, manage, and fix Dante-related issues from anywhere." Dante Director Professional is available now with elevated support services for onboarding, deployment, and product acquisition. Weekly news headlines. Get weekly headlines straight to your inbox!
Audinate launches management solution Dante Director Professional. The company said the platform is designed to handle anywhere from a 50-device installation to a many-thousand-device installation. The solution is designed to address the challenge of maintaining distributed AV infrastructure by providing centralized monitoring, management and security authentication capabilities. Dante Director Professional allows organizations to expand AV footprints across office buildings, campuses and global facilities by allowing users to manage a large number of networked devices. "Organizations are deploying both large and widespread Dante-enabled AV systems at unprecedented scale," said Laurence Crew, product manager at Audinate. "Dante Director Professional gives technical teams the tools they need to manage these distributed networks efficiently while maintaining the security and reliability that mission-critical communication systems demand." Audinate listed some of the products key components, which included remote management through a web-based dashboard, enhanced security due to single sign-on authentication, system integration through API and webhook capabilities and data retention made possible by log-file retention latency graphing. "At Rutgers University - New Brunswick, we support close to 300 general-purpose classes and learning environments across four campuses spread over 12 miles, and Dante Director Professional is an invaluable tool for remote monitoring and diagnosis of our AV systems," said Ed Rebert, AV systems manager at Rutgers. "This tool is so valuable to us, you'd have to pry Dante Director Professional from my cold, dead fingers to give it up!" The company said that the product provides the ability to segment, organize and monitor devices on the networks, along with performance collection and retention, elevating AV management techniques across many cases. "Dante Director Professional gives us full control over our global Dante network from one place," says Aljohn Mogol, senior AV engineer at Spotify. "This is a huge win because many of our remote offices don't have any AV/IT staff on-site, but we can still monitor, manage, and fix Dante-related issues from anywhere."
