AuthZed provides a comprehensive authorization system for businesses. Its main product, SpiceDB, is a database-like system inspired by Google's Zanzibar model to manage fine-grained access control. It supports Fine-Grained Authorization (FGA), Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC), and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), allowing companies to define precise permissions based on product needs, attributes, or roles. The system avoids complex SQL coding for recursive and nested permission sets, enabling low-latency authorization requests and smoother scalability.
