Poland gets its own Taskmaster. Becoming the 12th international version currently on air Poland is getting its own version of Taskmaster - becoming the 12th country outside the UK to be airing a home-grown version of the comedy hit. The show will be broadcast on the TVN channel and produced by Avalon - the makers of the UK original - with German-based company Constantin, which has studios in Warsaw. Alex Horne, the format's creator, pictured, said: 'I think this has got a bit out of control, to be honest. But I am still thrilled that the people of Poland are finally going to see their top comedians casting dignity to one side as they strive to impress the Polish version of Greg Davies.' Elsewhere, TV4 in Sweden is in production for series 14 and 15 of its version; Warner Bros Discovery in Norway is in production with a 12th series; and Taskmaster Denmark is in its tenth series on TV2. RTP is currently airing the seventh series of Taskmaster Portugal, after series six attracted a 21.4 per cent audience share. Other versions are screened in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Finland, Iceland and Estonia, with a version coming to The Netherlands via the RTL channel later this year. In addition, Belgium, Spain, Croatia and the US have previously made their own versions too, but each only lasted one season, while Germany piloted the format in 2017, but it wasn't picked up for broadcast.
