Overview

BCFS Health and Human Services is a national nonprofit delivering a range of community-based programs for at-risk families and individuals, including prevention, housing for young adults aging out of foster care, mental health and life skills, advocacy for survivors of trafficking, medical care for pregnant and postpartum women, and disability-focused family support. Programs are organized into prevention/intervention, housing, medical and mental health care, advocacy, and case management, coordinating services across Texas and the U.S. to support families from early intervention to independence. The organization differentiates itself by offering a broad cross-section of services under one umbrella, emphasizing coordinated, trauma-informed care and partnerships to address multiple needs. Its goal is to improve safety, well-being, and independence for vulnerable populations by providing comprehensive supports and opportunities that enable healthier, more stable lives.
