Atai Capital backs BK Technologies' Vision 2030 plan targeting $170M revenue and $60M EBITDA

BK Technologies nominates Michigan public safety radio director to board

BK Technologies has nominated Bradley A. Stoddard to its Board of Directors, pending approval at the Annual Meeting of Shareholders on 18 June 2026. Stoddard brings 28 years of leadership experience in public safety communications and technology strategy. Currently serving as Director of Michigan's Public Safety Communications System and Statewide Interoperability Coordinator, Stoddard oversees interoperable communications infrastructure for first responders across Michigan. BK Technologies targets $170M revenue and 35% EBITDA by 2030, unveils multiband BKR 9500 radio

BK Technologies has unveiled Vision 2030 targets of $170 million in revenue, 60% gross margin and 35% EBITDA margin, which management says would triple earnings per share to $13 and generate approximately $55 million in free cash flow through organic growth alone. The land mobile radio manufacturer's product roadmap centres on multiband adoption, including the BKR 9500 in-vehicle radio set to ship in the first half of 2027 and a next-generation BKRX platform planned for 2029. The company is also developing BK ONE and BKRplay smartphone-integrated solutions for broadband and interoperability. Management aims to expand beyond its 90% wildland fire market share into Tier 3 public safety, targeting 10% market share from the current 3.6%. Capital allocation will prioritise reinvestment and software acquisitions, with shareholder returns considered only if excess cash is available.
