Bazaarvoice

Bazaarvoice

Collects, manages, and distributes customer reviews

Overview

Bazaarvoice helps retailers and brands use customer opinions and visual content to boost online shopping. It provides tools to collect, manage, and publish user-generated content—like reviews, ratings, photos, and videos—and to display this content across online stores and marketing channels. The product works on a subscription model: clients pay for access to a platform that collects and publishes reviews, creates product catalogs, and turns social media content into shoppable experiences. It also offers product sampling programs to gather early reviews. Bazaarvoice differentiates itself with a large content engine and a wide retail network that distributes client content broadly, plus strong integrations with social platforms (e.g., Instagram) to turn visuals into purchase opportunities. The company’s goal is to help brands and retailers build trust with shoppers and drive sales by making it easy for customers to share opinions and for others to discover and buy products.

Bazaarvoice joins the Drinks Association as a Gold Partner. September 04, 2026 The Drinks Association is thrilled to announce that Bazaarvoice has joined the Drinks Association as a Gold Partner. Bazaarvoice is the world's most trusted network of authentic consumer voices. Connecting over 13,000 brands and retailers globally, Bazaarvoice sources, displays, and amplifies authentic product ratings, reviews, photos, and videos at scale. In Australia, the Bazaarvoice Retail Network footprint covers all the leading alcoholic beverage retailers, placing authentic user-generated content (UGC) directly in front of shoppers right where buying decisions happen. Across the industry, shoppers who interact with authentic UGC and reviews demonstrate up to 2x higher conversion rates, driving revenue both on e-commerce platforms and on retail store shelves. In the alcoholic beverages sector, where 74% of consumers still prefer purchasing in-store while digital ad spending scales toward $4.58B, having a trusted online presence and machine-readable shopper feedback is vital to guiding offline and online carts alike. Bazaarvoice Product Sampling rapidly generates authentic consumer reviews to build launch momentum. As search evolves from keyword queries into AI shopping engines, standard client-side reviews can remain hidden behind JavaScript. Bazaarvoice solves this with server-side indexing, ensuring your brand's NPDs, sampling feedback, and customer reviews are fully discoverable, trusted, and recommended by human shoppers and AI agents alike. Bazaarvoice works alongside leading food and beverage brands to solve key market challenges, helping clients to: * Collect and distribute reviews: Automating post-purchase review collection to maintain a steady drumbeat of fresh content, or authenticating and syndicating existing direct-to-consumer reviews straight to key retailer product pages to scale coverage fast. * Review seeding and sampling: Supercharging reviews for high-priority items by putting products directly into the hands of targeted shoppers in the Influenster community in exchange for honest feedback-ideal for accelerating new launches, seasonal campaigns, and refreshing outdated SKUs. * Visual and social UGC: Converting shoppers with authentic visual proof by generating high-quality customer photos, videos, and creator content to display on product pages, providing the inspiration and confidence shoppers need to add to cart. * Customer Q&A and review response: Engaging directly with shoppers by answering product questions and responding to reviews seamlessly through the central Bazaarvoice portal, removing purchase friction, boosting conversion rates, and building brand loyalty at retail. Applying a combination of platform technology, global network syndication, and deep consumer insights, Bazaarvoice helps alcohol brands convert consumer interest into measurable outcomes. Across the industry, shoppers who interact with authentic user-generated content and reviews demonstrate up to 2x higher conversion rates, driving revenue both on e-commerce platforms and on retail store shelves.

Bazaarvoice announced the introduction of AI Visibility package.

Bazaarvoice announced the introduction of AI Visibility package. Search. The new solution provides the technical foundation, expert implementation, and independent measurement needed for brands to secure their spot on the AI shelf; clients currently enabled are already seeing a 40% increase in AI-driven referral traffic Bazaarvoice, the world's leading platform for sourcing, displaying, and amplifying authentic user-generated content (UGC), today announced the launch of its AI Visibility package. The new offering helps brands and retailers prepare their UGC for the era of AI search and shopping by making authentic customer content structured, accessible, and primed for discovery by AI platforms. AI is fast becoming the new storefront. But most brands' hardest-won proof of trust, from customer reviews to photos and ratings, is invisible to it. That's because most review platforms render this content through JavaScript widgets, a format most AI crawlers skim past entirely. As shopping increasingly starts with an AI-generated answer rather than a search results page, content that AI can't see can't be surfaced. The AI Visibility package is built to close this gap. Across clients using the underlying infrastructure, brands have seen a median 40% increase in AI-driven referral traffic, with 100% of client UGC served in formats AI crawlers can read instantly. "Because standard JavaScript rendering creates a massive blind spot for AI crawlers, hard-earned customer reviews, photos, videos, and star ratings are essentially left in the dark," said Doug Straton, CMO at Bazaarvoice. "We built the AI Visibility package to fix that, so that the moment a crawler hits your page, it sees the full spectrum of your consumer voice, from written reviews to shopper photos and videos." The AI Visibility Package is tailored specifically for brands and retailers that want to get ahead of the AI curve and position their products to be visible in AI-driven shopping journeys. By delivering the technical foundation to be found, cited, and recommended today, Bazaarvoice helps brands to secure early market share in the rapidly evolving AI landscape. Key capabilities & core benefits * Put your brand in prime position to be discovered by AI search: Converts ratings, reviews, and gallery images into AI-ready structured data, putting brands in the prime position to be recommended by AI applications. * Stay ahead as AI evolves: Designed as a dynamic, future-proof offering rather than a static point solution. Early adopters automatically receive new AI capabilities as Bazaarvoice ships them, without needing to make additional purchases. * Implement with confidence: Expert-guided implementation ensures complex structured data is deployed correctly the first time. Unlike automated coding agents that risk damaging search engine optimization (SEO) and generative engine optimization (GEO), Bazaarvoice leverages over 20 years of UGC infrastructure expertise to protect and strengthen existing performance. * Independent GEO measurement: Bazaarvoice has partnered with leading AI visibility measurement providers Bluefish, Evertune, and Profound to offer an independent measurement layer. While Bazaarvoice powers the content infrastructure, these strategic partners track and score how often brand content is cited in AI answers.

July 15 2026 Cross-channel shopper and retail intelligence provider Wayvia, formerly known as PriceSpider, has launched a new Professional Services division, and appointed former Walmart exec Robert Gregory and former Bazaarvoice VP Lynne Riojas to its senior team. Irvine, California-based PriceSpider changed its name a year ago to Wayvia, after nearly two decades in business. It began as a price comparison tool, and has evolved into a full-funnel 'omnicommerce' performance platform offering in-depth insight into real-time pricing, product availability and shopper behavior, and backed by 'the world's largest' network of retailer and media partnerships. The new division brings together its platform, expertise and AI-driven insight to help brands succeed in eCommerce. Gregory (pictured above) will lead the new division as Senior Director of Professional Services, bringing more than two decades of experience building and scaling service offerings. He previously oversaw site merchandising operations at Walmart.com and held senior roles at commerce and supply-chain software providers including Salsify and PartnerLinQ, leading the onboarding of thousands of manufacturers across the general merchandise, automotive and DIY sectors. Riojas (pictured below) joins as Head of Sales to drive the company's revenue growth, tapping more than twenty years of sales leadership experience across healthcare, pharmaceuticals and software. Most recently she was Head of SaaS Sales at influencer and affiliate marketing platform Captiv8, having earlier spent a decade at Bazaarvoice, where she rose from Sales Director to Senior Divisional Vice President, Global & Strategic Enterprise. 'Our clients' time is their scarcest resource,' says CEO and co-founder Anthony Ferry, 'and Professional Services is how we help them make the most of it. Our platform already gives brands powerful, real-time insight into their omnicommerce performance. Now we're pairing that intelligence with expert advisors who interpret it and turn it into action on our clients' behalf. It's a true human-in-the-loop model, where AI surfaces what matters and our team brings the judgment and execution to make it count.' The company is on the web at www.wayvia.com.
