Biller Genie raises $22M in Series B funding. Biller Genie, an Orlando, Florida-based provider of a cloud-based accounts receivable automation platform, raised $22m in Series B funding. The round was by Radian Capital, with participation from existing investors. The company intends to use the funds to expand operations in the UK and other markets, and build out its engineering and leadership teams. Led by CEO Thomas Aronica and President Garima Shah, Biller Genie provides small and medium-sized enterprises in a variety of verticals, including professional services, wholesalers and manufacturers with a software platform designed to streamline and automate the entire invoice-to-cash process. The solution, which handles bill presentation, follow-up, collection, and reconciliation, without changing customers' current systems, has already processed billions of dollars in annual invoice volume.

Welcoming the investment, Economy Minister Dr Caoimhe Archibald said: "Biller Genie's decision to establish an office in the north is a vote of confidence in our skilled workforce and thriving tech sector. "Invest NI has worked closely with the company to secure this significant investment, which will create 100 high-quality jobs with average salaries of £65,000. "These roles will provide excellent opportunities for local talent, while hybrid working arrangements will help ensure greater regional balance and accessibility." The Minister added: "Strategically aligned foreign direct investment is a catalyst for economic success, innovation, and job creation. Later today, I will be traveling to Boston to meet with business leaders and potential investors to showcase the many advantages of doing business here, from our skilled workforce to our commitment to innovation and sustainability." The company chose Northern Ireland following a rigorous evaluation of several global locations including Orlando, India and South America.
