Bimeda introduces enhanced BOVitalize Plus.

Bimeda introduces enhanced BOVitalize Plus. Product now fortified with A. oryzae to support cattle health, digestion and performance. May 19, 2026 Bimeda is proud to announce the launch of its newly enhanced BOVitalize Plus, now fortified with Aspergillus oryzae to deliver an even more comprehensive approach to cattle health, digestion and performance. This advancement builds on the trusted formulation of essential trace minerals and vitamins - selenium, copper, zinc, vitamin A and vitamin E - by adding targeted digestive support designed to help cattle get more from every bite of feed. For producers and veterinarians, the inclusion of A. oryzae represents a significant step forward in rumen efficiency. A oryzae provides enzymatic activity that enhances fiber breakdown, helping cattle maintain intake and digestive consistency during diet transitions, periods of stress or when forage quality declines. By supporting more efficient fiber utilization, the upgraded BOVitalize Plus helps optimize nutrient absorption, stabilize the rumen environment, and promote improved overall performance across all stages of production. This enhancement reflects its commitment to delivering solutions that truly support the challenges cattle face every day," said Dr. Eric Moore, head of technical services North America at Bimeda. "By combining key vitamins and minerals with the proven digestive benefits of Aspergillus oryzae - and refining how the formula performs in suspension - we're offering a more complete, performance-driven supplement designed to keep animals healthy, efficient and moving forward." The improved BOVitalize Plus continues to offer the same convenient oral dosing, eliminating the need for additional injections and reducing labor at the chute. With the added digestive benefits of A. oryzae, the product now delivers an even stronger value proposition for both cow-calf and stocker operations seeking to improve health, consistency and overall productivity. BOVitalize Plus is now available through authorized Bimeda distributors. Bimeda is a leading global manufacturer of animal health products used in more than 80 countries worldwide and is committed to providing innovative solutions that support livestock health, welfare and performance. Bimeda(r) announces U.S. Availability of gastrobim(tm)(omeprazole) the first and only fda-approved bioequivalent to gastrogard(r)(omeprazole) for Equine Gastric Ulcer treatment.

Bimeda(r) announces U.S. Availability of gastrobim(tm)(omeprazole) the first and only fda-approved bioequivalent to gastrogard(r)(omeprazole) for Equine Gastric Ulcer treatment. Now available nationwide. Horse owners are encouraged to contact their veterinarian. Bimeda(R), a global leader in animal health solutions, today announced the U.S. launch of GASTROBIM(TM)(omeprazole), the first and only FDA-approved bioequivalent to GastroGard(R)(omeprazole) for the treatment and prevention of recurrence of gastric ulcers in horses and foals four weeks of age and older. This apple-flavored formulation offers veterinarians, trainers, and horse owners a clinically equivalent, high-quality alternative for the effective management of Equine Gastric Ulcer Syndrome (EGUS), addressing a critical need in equine health. Since its initial launch in 2024, GASTROBIM(TM) has rapidly emerged as the fastest-growing omeprazole product in Canada and Europe. Its strong adoption and positive reception among veterinarians and horse owners underscore its proven efficacy in treating and healing gastric ulcers, reinforcing its position as a trusted therapeutic option worldwide. The introduction of GASTROBIM(TM) in the U.S. further expands Bimeda's established equine portfolio, which includes leading brands such as EquiMAX(R)(1.87% ivermectin 14.03% praziquantel), Polyglycan(TM)(hyaluronic acid + chondroitin sulfates C4 & C6 + N-acetyl-D-glucosamine sterile solution), Detomequin(R)(detomidine hydrochloride), and Bimectin(R)(ivermectin paste), and reflects the company's ongoing commitment to delivering innovative, reliable solutions to the equine industry. "We are thrilled to introduce GASTROBIM(TM) to the U.S. market," said Eric Moore, DVM, Bimeda's Head of Technical Services North America. "Gastric ulcers remain one of the most common and performance limiting conditions in horses. Offering a bioequivalent, rigorously tested treatment underscores our commitment to supporting equine health, welfare, and performance at an affordable price." Equine Gastric Ulcer Syndrome (EGUS) affects a significant percentage of performance horses, often leading to reduced appetite, behavioral changes, discomfort, and decreased athletic performance. By introducing a bioequivalent, apple-flavored alternative, Bimeda aims to broaden access to effective treatment options and support improved health and performance outcomes across the equine industry.
