Overview

Bio Town BioGas runs an on-farm anaerobic digestion system at a multi-generational Indiana farm, turning cattle and swine manure and other organic waste into biogas, fertilizer, animal bedding, and water. The biogas is refined into pipeline-quality renewable natural gas and electricity, while byproducts are sold as soil amendments, with the process creating a closed-loop waste-to-value chain. What sets it apart is its vertically integrated model and large-scale RNG production from on-site digesters, processing diverse waste streams, and its partnership to expand capacity. Its goal is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and odors from farming while delivering renewable energy and fertilizer to support sustainable agriculture.
