Box to Box adds new President, CFO.

Box to Box adds new President, CFO. Drive to Survive production company, Box to Box Films, has appointed Matteo Perale as President and Matt Moore as Chief Financial Officer. Box to Box films and series include Face Off: Inside the NHL, Amy, Maradona and Tour de France: Unchained alongside "delivering ambitious, editorially-led storytelling at scale for some of the world's most recognisable names." In his new role, Perale will work across development, partnerships and new business opportunities, "helping to drive the next phase of growth while supporting the diversification of Box to Box's revenue streams across original commissions and brand collaborations." Perale previously co-founded studio wiip, which was sold to Korean conglomerate JTBC, and he has held senior roles including Head of Strategy and Corporate Development at CAA, where he sat on the executive committee, and Director of Strategic Development at Infront Sports & Media, playing a key role in its $1bn+ sale to Wanda Group. Following Perale's appointment, Box to Box founders James Gay-Rees and Paul Martin will now serve as Co-CEOs of the company, in addition to their roles as Founders. "The move reflects the scale and ambition of the business today, and is designed to support continued growth across both the creative and strategic leadership of the company." Matt Moore has also joined the company as Chief Financial Officer and will oversee financial strategy as the business continues to scale internationally. Moore most recently served as Group CFO at Vice Media Group, where he played a key role in restructuring the business and securing new investment to support its recovery and growth. Prior to this, he held senior roles at ITV, Virgin Media and BSkyB. US-based Matteo Perale, newly appointed President at Box to Box Films, said: "Box to Box has built something incredibly distinctive with a way of telling stories that genuinely connects with audiences around the world, and a brand that stands for quality. Those values remain at the core of what's needed to succeed in a time of rapid change. I'm excited to build on that as we continue expanding the company and positioning it at the intersection of content, culture and brands." UK-based Matt Moore, Chief Financial Officer at Box to Box Films, added: "This is a business with a clear creative identity and real momentum. I'm looking forward to supporting the next phase of growth and helping to build the infrastructure needed to scale globally." James Gay-Rees and Paul Martin, Co-CEOs of Box to Box Films, said: "Matteo brings a rare combination of creative instinct, strategic thinking and deal-making experience. As we continue to grow across our core slate and in partnership with brands, that perspective is incredibly valuable. Alongside Matt, who brings deep experience in scaling global media businesses, these appointments strengthen the leadership team for what comes next."

Box To Box Films unveils first look of new documentary series "Cruyff"

Box To Box Films unveils first look of new documentary series "Cruyff" The title offers intimate portrait of football visionary Johan Cruyff blending family archives, personal recordings and interviews with Pep Guardiola, Xavi Hernández, Dennis Bergkamp. First look images and new footage have been released for "Cruyff", a four-part series, produced by Box To Box Films ("Formula 1: Drive to Survive") in association with Lusus, captures the life, ideas and enduring global legacy of the player, coach and thinker whose vision reshaped modern football, Johan Cruyff. "Cruyff" draws on unprecedented access to the family's private archives, including unseen home movies and interviews with those closest to him. For the first time, Cruyff's lifelong partner Danny and children Jordi, Chantal and Susila speak openly about his life beyond the pitch. Across four episodes, the documentary explores how a fiercely independent and often controversial figure transformed football thinking, shaping the modern identity of clubs like FC Barcelona and Ajax while inspiring generations of players and coaches worldwide. The documentary features intimate interviews with key figures in world football, including Pep Guardiola. Other contributors include Xavi Hernández, Dennis Bergkamp, Marco van Basten, Ruud Gullit, Frank Rijkaard, Ronald Koeman, Pedri and Joan Laporta. Director Sam Blair said: "'Cruyff' changed the way football is played, but what fascinated us was the way his ideas extended far beyond the game... Through extraordinary access to his family, their private archives, and the recordings he made in the final months of his life, we were able to uncover the man behind that revolution, and tell a unique story about a visionary who challenged everything around him, and whose ideas continue to shape the world today." Jordi Cruijff added: "For many years our family kept much of Johan's private world out of the spotlight. This series gave us the opportunity to tell the story in a more complete way and to share the man we knew with the world." "Cruyff" (4x45") will air on NPO on 22 March, with a major stadium premiere at Amsterdam's Johan Cruyff ArenA, marking a public screening celebrating the enduring legacy of one of football's most influential figures. Danny Goldman from Goldridge Media is distributing "Cruyff", with broadcasters and platforms worldwide in discussions.
