Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Monica CEO Brynja Seagren takes on a six-month Interim CEO role at Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro LA. Brynja will provide executive support and leadership through January 2027. Congratulations to BGCMLA's departing CEO, Patrick Mahoney, on his new role as CEO of Lulu's Place! Brynja will lead both organizations during this six-month period, a reflection of the strong foundation she's built at SMBGC. Nothing about the day-to-day experience at SMBGC changes, for kids, families, partners, its its team. Brynja's deepened involvement across the LA Club ecosystem strengthens SMBGC's relationships with Boys & Girls Clubs of America and the corporate and civic partners Santa Monica Boys & Girls Club share across the region. The LA Club community is stronger when its leaders show up for each other. This is a defined, six-month commitment. Brynja remains CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Monica and your investment in this organization is in exactly the same capable hands it has always been.
A total of $2.25 million is being awarded to 30 non-profits supporting underserved and at-risk youth.
