Alfred Sanzari Enterprises announced the installation of a new Tesla Supercharging station at its Glenpointe corporate campus in Teaneck.Glenpointe’s Tesla supercharging station is the first in Teaneck, joining the world’s largest fast-charging network, which features over 60,000 superchargers nationwide. With its prime location at the intersection of Interstate 80 and the Garden State Parkway, the Supercharging station includes 20 superchargers with 250W. Glenpointe provides EV drivers with a highly convenient and accessible charging option, along with a wide range of on-site amenities such as Starbucks and Marketplace, an Urban eatery.“Whether it’s a hotel guest, an office tenant, or a visitor grabbing a coffee, we strive to make Glenpointe a place that meets every need,” said Ryan Sanzari, President of Alfred Sanzari Enterprises. “Adding Tesla Superchargers brings a highly sought-after amenity to our campus and reinforces its role as an important hub in Teaneck.”The Tesla Superchargers are the latest sustainability-focused addition to the Glenpointe campus. Earlier in 2024, the company partnered with Brightcore Energy, a provider of end-to-end clean energy solutions to the commercial and institutional market, to install a 5,312-panel solar power system on the campus parking garage. The system now produces about 25 % of the electric power needs of Glenpointe Center East and Glenpointe Center West.“Sustainability remains a key priority for today’s office tenants
Brightcore Energy, a leader in developing and implementing renewable energy solutions for the commercial and institutional markets, announced it has been awarded every community solar project that it submitted to New Jersey's Community Solar Energy Program (CSEP).
ARMONK, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Brightcore Energy, a leader in developing and implementing renewable energy solutions for the commercial and institutional markets, announced it has been awarded every community solar project that it submitted to New Jersey’s Community Solar Energy Program (CSEP). The CSEP, voted in by the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities (NJBPU) in August of 2023 and signed by Governor Phil Murphy in January of this year, brings more sustainable energy sources to New Jersey and helps to eliminate barriers to local communities' access to affordable, equitable, and clean energy. New Jersey faces a new and rapidly growing demand for community solar following the success of the two pilot programs in 2018 and 2020. In November 2023, the permanent program was launched with a capacity block of 225 megawatts (MW), attracting over 300 applications, representing a total of over 300MW. Brightcore has been awarded all 29 projects it submitted to date, 19 in the state’s Year 2 Pilot Program and another 10 in its permanent program. The first 19 projects, totaling over 7.4MW, have been successfully completed and are now generating solar energy to power local schools, businesses, hospitals, and government buildings
Brightcore Energy, a New York-based firm that implements renewable energy solutions for the commercial and institutional markets, recently announced it is developing a portfolio of solar projects for the Facilities Organization at Princeton University, which will be installed on rooftop- and canopy-mounted structures on the university’s campus in Princeton.Princeton University has committed to achieving Net Carbon Neutrality by 2046. A key component of Princeton’s Sustainability Action Plan is using renewables as the campus energy source. The project consists of four arrays, two of which will be rooftop-mounted and two canopy-mounted. The rooftop projects will be installed on the Tiger and Cub buildings, while the canopy-mounted projects will be at the Meadows and Stadium garages. In its entirety, the solar arrays will consist of 4,039 panels and are projected to produce an estimated 2,588 megawatt hours of electricity annually. Brightcore expects to begin constructing the projects in the summer.“We are so very proud to have been selected for this project,” Mike Richter, president of Brightcore, said. “The university has rigorous selection standards and was extremely thoughtful and supportive throughout the process. The school has shown great leadership with its ambitious and detailed sustainability plans, and we are excited to play a role in that.”Once operational, the estimated annual production will prevent approximately 1,834 metric tons of CO2 from entering the atmosphere, the equivalent of burning more than 2 million pounds of coal
