Overview

CSP designs and manufactures composite and multi-material components for transportation as a full-service, design-responsible supplier to automotive and heavy truck OEMs, with vertical integration of material formulation, compounding, and molding. It compounds its own materials and molds them into parts such as Class A body panels, pickup boxes, EV battery enclosures, using thermoset and thermoplastic technologies and in-house design and engineering to meet safety requirements. It differentiates itself through end-to-end, in-house material development and manufacturing across 15 facilities in the U.S. and Mexico, backed by a long industry heritage dating to 1969. The goal is to help vehicle makers improve efficiency and reduce weight with lighter, stronger, eco-friendly composites while maintaining safety, and to grow CSP’s standalone brand and manufacturing footprint.
