Campfire Interactive, an AI-enabled profitability optimisation software provider for automotive suppliers and manufacturers, has acquired Cover 4 PM, a platform for analysing and executing automotive supplier programmes. The acquisition expands Campfire's capabilities across forecasting, quoting and programme execution. Campfire manages over $200 billion in revenue through its platform and serves manufacturers representing nearly 5% of US GDP. The company claims suppliers lose 5% of operating margin annually due to inaccurate forecasts, and its platform delivers 8-10x ROI by closing this gap. The Cover 4 PM team, including co-founders Joe McCarthy and Rob Giannone, will continue operations under Campfire. The acquisition follows Invictus Growth Partners' $37 million majority investment in Campfire in September 2024.

Campfire's solution enables customers to leverage the power of their own data (and external data feeds) to increase efficiency, throughput, and profitability."We help manufacturers drive results in profitability, market share, and top-line growth," said Campfire President & CEO Dan Meyer. "Today's leading manufacturers have realized their ability to forecast accurately and quote profitably is a strategic imperative and can no longer be a spreadsheet exercise."Enterprise manufacturers have not kept pace with modern data management.
