Cerebral, a mental health care provider, has acquired Inflow, a personalised ADHD digital therapeutic app, to expand continuous care options for ADHD patients. The acquisition allows Cerebral to combine clinical care with engagement tools that help patients build skills between appointments. Adult ADHD prevalence in the US has risen from 4.4% historically to 6.0% in 2023, according to the CDC. Approximately 36.5% of adults diagnosed with ADHD receive no formal treatment. Inflow uses cognitive behavioural therapy principles to deliver science-based lessons and daily modules. The app demonstrated significant improvements in ADHD symptoms in an eight-week randomised controlled trial. Both platforms will continue operating separately, though Cerebral clinicians will become more accessible to Inflow members seeking therapy.

Cerebral, a digital mental health company, has raised $25 million in funding following its acquisition of Resilience Labs, a virtual behavioral health care company. The acquisition, announced in August, aims to enhance Cerebral's clinical quality by integrating Resilience Labs' therapy, medication management, and clinician development platform. This move comes as Cerebral seeks to address past criticisms of its prescribing and business practices.
