Aurora Innovation announced a customer agreement with Charger Logistics to deploy second-generation driverless trucks on the Dallas-Laredo route. Charger Logistics will use Aurora's autonomous driving technology to add capacity and improve utilization on one of its busiest freight corridors. Charger Logistics is an asset-based transportation and logistics company providing truckload, warehousing, and cross-border services across North America. The company handles temperature-controlled food, pharmaceuticals, automotive, retail, and consumer products. Aurora's Vice President of Business Development, Zac Andreoni, said the new driverless truck fleet helps meet demand following last year's launch.
