Expand Energy Q3 preview: $1.28 EPS and $2.1B revenue expected, but a beat looks uncertain

Expand Energy is due to report third-quarter 2026 results on October 27. The Zacks Consensus Estimate is a profit of $1.28 per share on revenue of $2.1 billion, a 32% rise in earnings and an 11.4% rise in revenue from a year earlier. The US natural gas producer beat earnings estimates in each of the last four quarters. In the second quarter, adjusted earnings of $1.33 per share beat consensus by 9%, but revenue of $1.8 billion missed the $2 billion estimate on lower realised prices. Analysts expect daily gas production of 6,870 million cubic feet, up about 2.2% from a year ago. Lower gas prices, forecast at $2.56 per thousand cubic feet, down 8.9%, could weigh on revenue and margins. Zacks' model does not predict an earnings beat; the company's Earnings ESP is -0.08%.
