Circuit, an Austin-based AI platform for manufacturing and service operations, has raised $30 million from individual investors in one of Texas' largest angel rounds. The funding addresses the manufacturing sector's growing skills gap, with Deloitte and The Manufacturing Institute estimating 1.9 million jobs could remain unfilled by 2033 due to expertise drain. Founded by Silicon Labs veterans including former CEO Tyson Tuttle, Circuit transforms technical documentation into actionable workflows for configuring equipment, building quotes and troubleshooting. The platform integrates with ERPs, quoting tools and CRMs, interpreting configuration logic and technical dependencies. Investors include Jim Breyer, Lew Cirne and other experienced company builders. Customers such as Culligan and Four Hands report faster quotes, fewer errors and accelerated employee onboarding. The funds will support product development and team expansion.
