Overview

City Garden Montessori School provides neighborhood charter education in the Shaw neighborhood of St. Louis, following the Maria Montessori method. Students engage in Montessori-based activities in prepared environments, choosing tasks and working at their own pace under the guidance of trained teachers. The school combines a Montessori curriculum with a charter-school model to serve a diverse community and strengthen families and local neighborhoods, while promoting respect for self, others, the environment, and the wider world.
