Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • SuccessDay added roughly 100 staff, lifting CloudRock above 320 consultants and widening delivery capacity.
  • The Benelux expansion strengthens cross-border selling across Netherlands, DACH, and Nordics enterprise accounts.
  • Workplace Adjustment Passport and GC Index partnerships create attachable products beyond pure services.

What critics are saying

  • SuccessDay integration can distract leaders and trigger attrition before the 2026 renewal cycle.
  • CloudRock depends heavily on Workday; partner overlap from Kainos and Cognizant squeezes margins.
  • If European enterprise spending slows in 2026, CloudRock's growth narrative loses investor and hiring appeal.

What makes CloudRock unique

  • CloudRock blends HR, finance, and Workday consulting across seven offices and India delivery centers.
  • The January 2026 SuccessDay acquisition added Benelux reach and a larger Workday AMS practice.
  • CloudRock ranked 379th in FT 1000 2026, validating repeatable growth since GCP backing.

CloudRock acquires Dutch HR-IT consulting firm SuccessDay

CloudRock acquires dutch HR-IT consulting firm SuccessDay. CloudRock, a UK-headquartered consultancy specialising in human resources and finance digital transformation, has expanded into the Benelux through the acquisition of SuccessDay. Founded in 2019, Netherlands-based SuccessDay is a HR-IT consulting firm offering advisory, technology and implementation services across technologies such as Workday, Oracle and SAP SuccessFactors. The firm ranks as one of the leading HR consulting firms in the country, and recently was recognized for its fast growth both domestically and across Europe (mainly in DACH and the Nordics). With this acquisition, CloudRock adds a new market to its footprint - Eindhoven becomes the firm's seventh office worldwide, alongside London (UK), Lisbon (Portugal), Sydney (Australia) and New York (US). CloudRock additionally has two technology delivery centres in Mumbai and Bengaluru (India). CloudRock's headcount meanwhile jumps by around 100 people to over 320 consultants and staff. The bolt-on also deepens the firm's HR-IT offerings, especially in the Workday landscape - SuccessDay has built one of the largest Workday AMS practices in the Benelux. Minos Ataliotis, CEO and Founder of CloudRock, said: "This partnership is a major milestone for both our teams and our customers. By coming together, we're creating the largest independent partner of its kind, with the scale, capability, and delivery excellence demanded for today's most complex transformation programmes across the full HR-IT and finance lifecycle. We are incredibly excited for what we can achieve together." Part of CloudRock, SuccessDay will retain its brand, culture, and leadership team, while benefiting from the scale, reach, and investment of the wider group. This will allow SuccessDay to provide its clients with an expanded service when required, for example in areas such as finance transformation, custom application development, or global delivery capability. "I'm proud of what we've built and how we challenged the status quo. Now it's time for the next step in our journey," said Bas Eggelaar, CEO and Founder of SuccessDay. "CloudRock and SuccessDay are perfectly aligned in culture, ambition, and delivery philosophy. Together, we offer a full lifecycle capability, from advisory and readiness, to implementation support, optimisation, and innovation, backed by truly global delivery. Our teams are energised and ready for this next chapter." Financial terms and conditions of the deal have not been disclosed. CloudRock was advised by GP bullhound, with legal counsel provided by squire patton boggs, and finance & tax advisory by grant thornton. SuccessDay was advised by forvis mazars, with legal support from dirkzwager.
