Colliers Engineering acquires TDI Engineering in Texas.

Colliers Engineering acquires TDI Engineering in Texas. Everything is bigger in Texas, and that's certainly true of Colliers Engineering & Design, which has expanded its presence in the Lone Star State with the acquisition of TDI Engineering assets. According to the Holmdel-based multidiscipline architecture and engineering consulting and design firm's Aug. 4 announcement, TDI has offices in Austin and Dallas. Colliers now has eight locations in Texas. The strategic addition brings on extensive civil and structural engineering expertise. A company spokesperson told NJBIZ 25 TDI team members will join Colliers Design & Engineering as part of the move. The company declined to disclose terms of the transaction. According to President and CEO Kevin Haney, the move strengthens existing company service lines, while also opening up more opportunities. "The TDI team has built a strong reputation for quality and client trust, and through our shared focus on people, quality and long-term relationships, we are well positioned for continued growth," Haney said. TDI Engineering has transitioned to and will operate under the Colliers Engineering & Design brand. Under Colliers Engineering & Design's partnership model, the company said TDI senior leaders will become shareholders in the firm. They will also continue to oversee their operations and clients. TDI identifies its founding members as Jeff Cloyd, Roger Meredith and Jeff Shindler on its website. The transaction is the latest in a series of move to expand Colliers Engineering & Designs breadth and services. Dyk? Colliers Engineering & Design held the No. 1 position on the 2026 top Environmental Firms list from the NJBIZ Leads & Data center with the most New Jersey-based employees. Take a closer look here. In June, it celebrated the rebrand and full integration of Terra Consulting Group. After acquiring the Illinois-based engineering firm specializing in wireless and infrastructure design services in May 2025, it now operates under the Colliers brand. And this past May, the company finalized a partnership with Frankfurt-Short-Bruza Associates PC. At the time, Haney noted the move bolstered Colliers' growing infrastructure business. The award-winning architecture, engineering and design firm with headquarters in Oklahoma City will rebrand to the Colliers banner at a later date. Meanwhile, a finalized agreement in February with Ramos Consulting Services Inc. of Los Angeles also added transit, transportation and infrastructure expertise. In 2023, national firm Colliers Engineering & Design expanded its headquarters footprint, relocating from Red Bank to Bell Works in Holmdel. At the time, the firm said growing into the new space followed its strategic plan to continue growing, which has clearly come to fruition.
