Overview

CMADC provides health care in Rockland County for the uninsured, underinsured, and underserved, offering primary care, dental, OB/Gyn, behavioral health, and other specialties in a private physician setting as a nonprofit since 1993 with over 17,000 patients. It operates a community health model delivering services through affiliated private physicians, coordinating care across disciplines; federal ARRA funding supports expanded access and allows recruiting more providers. It differs from for-profit clinics by being a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on underserved residents in a defined area, using federal support to grow while offering multiple specialties under private physician care. Its goal is to increase access to medical and dental care for the Rockland County underserved by expanding services and providers to serve more patients.
