Complexio

Complexio

Automates enterprise workflows via knowledge graph

Overview

Complexio builds AI-powered enterprise automation layers that convert large sets of structured and unstructured data into a living blueprint called the Event Knowledge Graph (EKG). This graph maps how processes run across an organization in real time and can coordinate existing AI tools or generate its own to automate workflows across multiple systems. The company focuses on maritime and shipping, using partner data to tailor models and identify optimization opportunities, such as millions of relationships found in Hafnia’s data. Its goal is to reduce manual work and improve decision-making by delivering tailored AI-enabled automation that streamlines operations for enterprise clients.

Hafnia confirms faster workflows with Complexio AI, plans full-scale rollout through 2027

Hafnia, one of the world's largest product tanker operators, has confirmed operational improvements from deploying Complexio, an enterprise AI platform, according to CEO Mikael Skov's Q1 2026 shareholder letter. The company reported faster response times across commercial and finance workflows, with plans to scale adoption through 2026 and 2027. Complexio integrates conversational AI, workflow analytics and automation to transform operational data into faster decision-making. The platform ingests structured and unstructured activity across organisations, creating a continuously updated, queryable model of business operations with built-in data governance. Hafnia co-founded Complexio as a joint venture and retains a shareholding. The company operates around 200 vessels and employs close to 5,000 people onshore and at sea.

Complexio deploys Stevie AI across five global shipping companies

Complexio has deployed its Enterprise Intelligence Layer and conversational AI product, Stevie, across five global shipping companies: Hafnia, Marfin Management, C Transport Maritime, BW Epic Kosan and Alassia NewShips Management. The company's Event Knowledge Graph ingests unstructured communications to automatically construct a continuously updated model of business operations, identifying entities, relationships and events. Stevie provides a conversational interface allowing users to query their organisation's operational history and receive contextual answers within seconds. Whilst initial deployments focus on shipping, the technology is industry-agnostic and applicable to any operationally complex enterprise. Early use cases include preparing for commercial negotiations, tracking demurrage exposure and generating executive briefings. Complexio was formed as a joint venture between Hafnia and Símbolo.
