Peterson Brands has acquired Country Pure Foods, a leading US producer of portioned and multiserve juices, plant-based beverages and frozen novelties. The deal strengthens Peterson Brands' position in key beverage categories and expands its presence across retail and foodservice markets. Headquartered in Akron, Ohio, Country Pure Foods operates manufacturing facilities across the United States. The company's portfolio includes brands such as Ardmore Farms, SideKicks and VBlend, alongside private label and co-manufacturing capabilities. It serves K-12 schools, healthcare, restaurants and retail customers. Peterson Brands operates within the Peterson Farms Family of Companies, based in Shelby, Michigan. The acquisition enhances Peterson Brands' manufacturing and distribution capabilities. Day-to-day operations at Country Pure Foods will continue without immediate changes during the integration period.

Country Pure Foods, an Ohio-based juice and frozen beverage supplier, will close its only Houston location by May, leaving dozens out of work, according to a filing submitted to the Texas Workforce Commission.
