Cova

As-a-service microinsurance platform for partners

Overview

COVA Africa embeds microinsurance into other businesses’ offerings, helping merchants, fintechs, mobile apps, and microfinance institutions sell health, life, accidents, funerals, and property coverage. Its platform is API-driven and works with local and French insurers to deliver a mobile-first, easy-to-subscribe experience that can be bundled with everyday services like transport or loyalty programs. It differentiates itself by targeting Francophone Africa, building regional and international partnerships, and offering tailored products such as COVA for Pikin’s, COVA Life, and COVA Mboa Diaspora. The goal is to expand insurance penetration and financial inclusion by making affordable, accessible insurance an embedded part of customers’ daily activities.
