What believers are saying

  • September 4, 2026 Maker 5 launch at Michaels broadens retail reach and awareness.
  • Q2 2026 subscriptions topped 3.1 million, lifting platform revenue 5% to $85 million.
  • AutoPress 2's $349 entry price and Amazon exclusivity target smaller creators immediately.

What critics are saying

  • Q2 2026 products revenue fell 22%; promotions and tariffs crushed hardware economics.
  • Design Space dependency makes Cricut vulnerable to Apple, Google, or web-platform policy shifts.
  • If subscriptions stall below 3.1 million, hardware loses leverage and Cricut becomes a commodity cutter.
