Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • March 2026 continuation capital funded future acquisitions and platform investment.
  • Crosslake's 2025 Lucen deal broadened cybersecurity, AI, product strategy, and engineering services.
  • Employee counts near 312 and recent growth suggest ongoing hiring despite market churn.

What critics are saying

  • Crosslake still depends on Falfurrias; March 2026 recap recycled ownership, not exit demand.

What makes Crosslake Technologies unique

  • Crosslake serves PE sponsors with due diligence, value creation, and executive consulting across portfolios.
  • Lucen Partners added product and software advisory depth in May 2025.
  • Intechnica expanded Crosslake's European delivery footprint and bespoke digital build capabilities.

Crosslake, a technology advisory firm serving private equity investors, has closed a single-asset continuation vehicle led by Leonard Green & Partners' Sage Fund. The transaction was initiated by existing sponsor Falfurrias Management Partners, which remains a significant investor. The deal provides liquidity to certain existing investors whilst enabling Crosslake's management team to continue executing growth initiatives. The transaction includes additional capital to support future acquisitions and platform investment. Terms were not disclosed. Founded in 2010, Crosslake combines practitioner expertise with proprietary data and tools to support private equity firms across the investment lifecycle. Under Falfurrias' ownership, the company expanded its advisory capabilities, with value creation practices now representing approximately half of its work.
