The deployment enables multi-orbit operations and improves bandwidth efficiency. Intuition supports Datacom's Satellite Modernization Blueprint, a framework helping operators transition to software-defined, cloud-native architectures. The system moves away from traditional five- to ten-year hardware migration cycles, offering faster service activation and more efficient network resource use. The solution will initially be deployed across multiple gateways to support maritime terminals. It features advanced resource management capabilities and aims to achieve double-digit reductions in total cost of ownership for Datacom's customers. ST Engineering iDirect will provide Intuition under a subscription model, including technical enablement and ongoing lifecycle support.
