A new database report provides detailed analysis of New Zealand's data centre market, covering 35 existing and 9 upcoming facilities across Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and other locations. The report tracks white-floor space, IT load capacity, pricing and rack capacity. The operational market totals approximately 154 MW, with DCI Data Center, CDC Data Centres and Datacom dominating installed capacity. Auckland accounts for over 60% of upcoming power capacity. The market demonstrates controlled, strategic expansion rather than explosive growth, with companies like TenPeaks, Datacom and CDC Data Center positioning New Zealand as a stable digital infrastructure hub. The database covers facilities from 2025-2029 and targets REITs, contractors, infrastructure providers and consultants seeking market dynamics and investment insights.
