Overview

Datalogics is pleased to announce the latest updates to Adobe PDF Library 18 (APDFL) and PDF Converter. This release cycle focused primarily on security, ensuring that the libraries powering your PDF workflows are built on a current, well-maintained foundation. Developers shipping applications to enterprise clients or regulated industries will find particular value in these updates, as they address several known vulnerabilities and keep your dependency stack in good standing. This reduces exposure and gives customers the confidence that the tools underneath their workflows aren't carrying known risks. Adobe PDF Library updates. APDFL v18.0.5PlusP2d includes an upgrade to OpenSSL 3.6.2, addressing two specific vulnerabilities: RSA key encapsulation and heap buffer overflow. Developers integrating APDFL into Java or .NET build pipelines should also note that the Maven and NuGet package versions have both been updated to 18.63.0, making it straightforward to pull in the latest release. PDF Converter updates. PDF Converter v3.2PlusP1p brings a matching set of dependency updates. Expat has been updated to version 2.8.1 and libpng to 1.6.58, consistent with the mitigations applied in APDFL. The base64 library has also been updated to version 0.5.2. PDF Association recommend updating both products at your earliest convenience to ensure your integrations are running on the most secure and stable versions available.
