EverQuest producer's letter september 2026. Date: 09/29/2026 Summer has been busy here at the studio as Daybreak Game Company continue to plug away to bring you some fantastic quality-of-life updates over the last several months. From group quest overhauls to making the Bazaar more accessible, here is a quick look back at what Daybreak Game Company has been working on. The team has taken a good look at multiple Hero's Journey quests and shifted them to be more group friendly. Several quest items such as One of Lize's Trinkets, Anarynn's Lost Gold Locket, and Void Etched Symbol will now drop for the entire group rather than forcing your group to fight over single drops. For its Progression Server players, August brought about an awesome change; Translocator Cogsley is now hanging out in the Commonlands to give you access to the Bazaar even before Shadows of Luclin unlocks on your server. Daybreak Game Company also rolled out a wave of improvements to the Resource Hunter system, adjusting how and where bonuses spawn to make your time in Norrath feel more rewarding. Daybreak Game Company has also touched on class tuning for Enchanters and Magicians, Shadow Knights, Shamans, and Rogues; no more rogue shock procs zapping your friends! And finally, Daybreak Game Company added handy min/max stat filters to the Bazaar search window to make your bargain hunting a breeze. Its developers also tackled some long-standing inconveniences in its monthly updates: * UI Upgrades: Daybreak Game Company added an Expansion dropdown to the Find Item and Bazaar Search windows to help you filter through your loot down the line. * Model Fixes: Original character models should now show helms and robes much more reliably. Now a quick reminder that fundraising is underway for Extra Life! Daybreak Game Company is already over $55K towards its $115K goal this year, and I have no doubt Daybreak Game Company will surpass that goal with ease. Daybreak Game Company has some wonderful group, individual, and fundraiser incentives. Be sure to check out the Extra Life Guide for how to join Team Darkpaw if you have not done so yet. Thank you to those of you who have already donated or started fundraising. Daybreak Game Company will keep you posted as keys get sent out. Some of the Extra Life incentives: Cobalt the Riding Dog, Metamorph: Cerulean Veilwing, and Gold Beanie Daybreak Game Company has events such as Fall Fun and Festival of Shadows happening now, and Extra Life Bonus Week, Feast of Giving, Raid, Raid, Raid and Frostfell coming up. Daybreak Game Company will also be implementing a new system for Account-to-Account transfers. Daybreak Game Company also have been working on being able to select multiple items in bags for taking action on at once! The first pass will see the ability to parcel multiple items all at once. More information for both will be provided once they are closer to being implemented. Finally, I'd like to discuss the 2026 expansion. This year's expansion is called... wait for it... Favors of Fortune. Beta and pre-orders will begin on October 6, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. PT. Daybreak Game Company will also be having a Developer Livestream on November 17, 2026 which Daybreak Game Company will post up all the details on as the time for it grows closer. No one can yet explain how or why, only that the pattern is spreading. With the gods distracted, fate unraveling, and Scorn's influence rising, the path ahead grows darker by the hour. The champions of Norrath must step forward once more, not knowing whether fortune will favor them, or betray them at every turn. EverQuest Legends Producer's letter sept. 17, 2026. Date: 09/17/2026 Hail Legends! Daybreak Game Company hope that you're enjoying EverQuest Legends, checking out the new Dungeon Crawls, and perfecting your unique builds! Now that Daybreak Game Company is past launch and heading into the Fall season, I wanted to take a moment to share some of its plans for the rest of the year and beyond. First and foremost, the team is working hard to prepare for the launch of Nektropos Castle and Lake Nerius in October! Along with Nektropos Daybreak Game Company'll also be adding a new starting zone and a brand-new playable race as part of the update. From the outside, Nektropos looks like a stately castle surrounded by a bustling trade hub. But many dark secrets await those who find their way inside. And, perhaps... underneath? There will also be seasonal items and events to enjoy as you explore these new areas of Norrath! After that, there's no time to rest as Daybreak Game Company turn its sights on the release of Rulers of Kunark in mid-December! As a reminder, EverQuest Legends is set in a different timeline than the original game, so you should expect to see some major differences with this expansion. Where there were once crumbling remnants of a distant empire you will now find the factions battling for supremacy at the height of their powers. The Rulers of Kunark expansion will also include Reincarnation, which is a new system that will allow you to re-level your characters and unlock new abilities and increased stat caps. Daybreak Game Company will also be adding increased max levels (55), Aliases, Collections, Artes, Auction Houses, and much more! Finally, looking forward to 2027, Daybreak Game Company is currently working on plans for additional Kunark zones, another playable race in Kunark, and two more raid zones for Kunark. Daybreak Game Company will also release a new high-level outdoor zone, Rujarkian Hills, which is being pushed back to accommodate its plan to add additional content to Nektropos. Later in 2027, Daybreak Game Company plan to release another major expansion based on Velious. And in the expansion after that Daybreak Game Company will be revisiting forgotten places and lost secrets to take the game in entirely new, if vaguely familiar, directions.
