Demant to sell Oticon Medical to Impilo. Demant, a world-leading hearing healthcare group headquartered in Denmark and listed on Nasdaq Copenhagen, has signed an agreement to divest Oticon Medical to Impilo. Plesner advised Demant A/S in connection with the divestment. Oticon Medical is a global company dedicated to bringing the power of sound to people at every stage of life with bone anchored hearing solutions. Impilo is a Nordic investment company focused on investments in Nordic healthcare companies. As part of the agreement Demant will support Impilo for a defined period of time, as they develop Oticon Medical into a stand-alone business. These transitional services will include inter alia the joint development of next-generation products and the supply of existing and future sound processors.
