Demetres

Demetres

Dessert restaurant and premium ice cream

Overview

Demetres runs dessert-focused venues, including 13 restaurants in the Greater Toronto Area, and sells its ice creams in select premium Ontario grocery stores, along with operating Scooped By Demetres boutiques. Its offerings are crafted in-house, with scoopable ice creams and desserts available in grocery stores, restaurants, and boutiques, and Scooped By Demetres rotating flavors at about 20 varieties at a time. The company stands out by connecting a 30-plus year dessert heritage with multiple sales channels—full-service dining, grocery lines, and dedicated dessert boutiques—focusing on high-quality, crafted treats rather than relying on a single channel. Its goal is to broaden access to meticulously crafted ice creams and desserts across Ontario by expanding its flavor lineup and reach through restaurants, grocery shelves, and bespoke boutiques.
