Paris-based DentalMonitoring has raised €84 million to expand its AI-powered remote orthodontic monitoring platform globally. The round was led by new investors Lazard Elaia Capital and ISALT through its Fonds Stratégique des Transitions. Founded in 2014, DentalMonitoring serves over two million patients with its software-as-a-medical-device platform, which uses AI to enable remote clinical supervision of orthodontic treatment. The company offers features including DM Insights, ScanAssist and DentalMonitoring+. The funding will strengthen DentalMonitoring's position in Europe, the US, Australia and Japan whilst supporting expansion into Brazil, Turkey, Southeast Asia and the Middle East. The company will also invest in AI research through a new software development centre and expand partnerships with appliance manufacturers and practice management software providers.

Under this program, supported by Ormco and designed to make remote monitoring with DentalMonitoring accessible to a much broader Ormco customer base, Ormco providers in North America using DentalMonitoring will benefit from 25% savings on monitoring fees for all newly started Ormco cases across all appliances, including Spark™ Clear Aligners and Ormco's bracket systems, including Damon Ultima™.
