DentalMonitoring, an AI-powered remote monitoring solutions provider for orthodontics, has appointed two senior marketing leaders following a $100 million investment round. Tommy Maussin joins as chief marketing officer, whilst Oliver Gelles becomes head of marketing communications and professional education. The appointments support DentalMonitoring's integrated global marketing strategy focused on accelerating adoption and deepening clinical partnerships. The strategy encompasses brand positioning, professional education expansion, and aligning global messaging with local commercial efforts. Founded in Paris, DentalMonitoring holds FDA De Novo approval and MDR certification for its remote monitoring platform. The company aims to redefine orthodontic care standards by bridging AI innovation with clinical application. The recent funding will sustain the company's vertical and horizontal growth trajectory across global markets.
DentalMonitoring has launched DM End-to-End, an AI-powered platform supporting orthodontic care across observation, treatment and retention phases. The system integrates the company's proprietary AI technology, clinical insights and patient communication tools into a continuous care journey. The platform enables practices to monitor patients remotely throughout their orthodontic journey, from early observation through two years post-treatment retention. DentalMonitoring claims observation patients typically represent 20–30% of an orthodontic practice's patient base, presenting significant revenue opportunities. The company is introducing a cap fee pricing model, eliminating additional billing once reached. The fee covers observation and interceptive care phases, active treatment monitoring and up to two years of retention monitoring. DentalMonitoring's FDA-approved and MDR-certified software is used by over 13,000 practices worldwide.
Paris-based DentalMonitoring has raised €84 million to expand its AI-powered remote orthodontic monitoring platform globally. The round was led by new investors Lazard Elaia Capital and ISALT through its Fonds Stratégique des Transitions. Founded in 2014, DentalMonitoring serves over two million patients with its software-as-a-medical-device platform, which uses AI to enable remote clinical supervision of orthodontic treatment. The company offers features including DM Insights, ScanAssist and DentalMonitoring+. The funding will strengthen DentalMonitoring's position in Europe, the US, Australia and Japan whilst supporting expansion into Brazil, Turkey, Southeast Asia and the Middle East. The company will also invest in AI research through a new software development centre and expand partnerships with appliance manufacturers and practice management software providers.
Under this program, supported by Ormco and designed to make remote monitoring with DentalMonitoring accessible to a much broader Ormco customer base, Ormco providers in North America using DentalMonitoring will benefit from 25% savings on monitoring fees for all newly started Ormco cases across all appliances, including Spark™ Clear Aligners and Ormco's bracket systems, including Damon Ultima™. "As the orthodontic industry evolves, our goal is to make remote monitoring accessible, impactful, and financially sustainable for every practice," said Philippe Salah, CEO of DentalMonitoring. "Our partnership with Ormco brings doctors powerful clinical tools and meaningful savings.". Continued Integration: Streamline Refinements and Retainers with Smart STLOrmco customers will continue to have access to a streamlined refinement and retainer workflow for Spark providers via an integration between the DentalMonitoring platform and Spark™ Approver Software. This workflow allows orthodontists to request refinements or retainers without requiring an additional in-office scan. How it works:
