According to USPS, by enabling faster, more accurate routing at scale, the Matrix sorter significantly improves operational efficiency - by as much as 75% - while also reducing the facility footprint required for sorting operations. The result is a more streamlined, high-throughput environment that accelerates regional package movement, shortens delivery times, and supports broader USPS network modernization efforts. The implementation required close coordination with USPS stakeholders, phased execution, and a design approach that balanced immediate performance gains with long-term flexibility. Executed on-time and under budget, the new Phoenix facility is among the Postal Service's highest performing operations and hosted multiple tours during the NPF show, noted Satyen Pathak, DCS Senior Account Executive and primary point of contact for the USPS account.
