Overview

Destiny Arts Center runs movement arts programs for youth aged 3–18 in the San Francisco Bay Area, blending dance, theater, and martial arts with violence prevention and youth leadership. Programs are offered on a sliding scale at a North Oakland facility, through school partnerships, and in summer camps, reaching thousands of young people each year. The center also runs youth performance groups (DAYPC and DJC) and offers professional development for educators, all guided by its Warriors Code of love, care, respect, and peace. Its goal is to help young people express themselves, resolve conflicts peacefully, develop leadership, and participate in the arts and community-building in an accessible, community-driven setting.
