Digs

Home build collaboration and decision platform

Overview

Digs is a home build collaboration platform for custom home builders and homeowners. It provides a centralized hub to store all selections and decisions, share updates, and keep everyone on the same page with real-time communication. How it works: The platform is subscription-based. Users can start with free unlimited projects and then add features through paid plans. Builders and clients upload decisions, track changes, and receive real-time updates in one shared space, making it easier to manage the build timeline and approvals. Differentiation: Digs focuses specifically on decision management and real-time collaboration within the custom home-building process, consolidating all selections, messages, and approvals in a single place to reduce back-and-forth and prevent missed details, unlike broader project management tools. Goal: Save time and reduce the complexity of managing custom home builds by improving communication and keeping all parties aligned throughout the project.

Digs and Matt Risinger join forces to bring practical AI to home builders.

Digs and Matt Risinger join forces to bring practical AI to home builders. Digs is proud to announce a strategic partnership with Matt Risinger and The Build Show Network to help builders cut through the AI hype and understand how artificial intelligence can solve real-world challenges. Through educational content, podcasts, product demonstrations, live events, and builder resources, Digs Inc.'ll explore practical AI applications that improve collaboration, streamline workflows, reduce rework, and create better homeowner experiences. Artificial intelligence is quickly becoming one of the biggest conversations in residential construction. Every week seems to bring another AI tool promising to transform how builders work. But amid all the excitement, one question remains: What actually delivers value on the jobsite? Rather than focusing on AI for AI's sake, this partnership is about helping builders understand where technology delivers measurable value and how it can be applied across every stage of the homebuilding process. From pre-construction planning and estimating to project collaboration, homeowner handoff, and warranty management, Digs and The Build Show Network are focused on helping builders confidently navigate the future of home building. Why this partnership matters. Matt Risinger has earned the trust of builders by evaluating products, building methods, and emerging technologies through a practical lens. His focus has always been on helping construction professionals make informed decisions that improve quality, efficiency, and profitability. That approach aligns perfectly with Digs' mission. At Digs, Digs Inc. believe builders already have one of their greatest assets: information. Every project generates thousands of valuable data points, from plans and specifications to product selections, change orders, warranties, and homeowner documentation. The challenge isn't creating more information. It's making that information accessible when and where it's needed. Through this partnership, Digs and The Build Show Network will help builders understand how AI can unlock the knowledge hidden inside every project and turn it into a competitive advantage. Builders are sitting on a goldmine of project data. Every home creates a story of decisions, documents, and details. It starts with architectural plans and engineering documents, grows through selections, approvals, field notes, inspections, and product information, and continues long after move-in through warranties and maintenance records. Unfortunately, that story is often scattered across emails, PDFs, cloud drives, text messages, and disconnected software. When information is difficult to find, teams spend valuable time searching for answers, mistakes become more common, and homeowners are left without a complete record of their home. AI changes that by turning disconnected project information into searchable, connected knowledge teams can use when they need it most. Instead of hunting through folders or asking multiple people for answers, builders can quickly access the information they need to keep projects moving. Practical AI that solves everyday problems. The most valuable AI tools aren't replacing builders. They're helping builders spend less time searching for information and more time making decisions. Digs brings together the information that powers every home into one connected platform, making collaboration easier from pre-construction through warranty. Builders can: * Instantly find answers buried in plans, specifications, contracts, and project documents with AskDigs(TM) AI. * Generate measurements and quantities in minutes using AI-powered takeoffs. * Keep conversations connected directly to drawings with DigsCanvas(TM), reducing confusion and costly rework. * Transform traditional 2D plans into immersive 3D digital twins that improve understanding for builders, trade partners, and homeowners. * Deliver a complete digital homeowner handoff through DigsCare(TM), including manuals, warranties, maintenance information, and the home's project history. These aren't future concepts. They're practical tools builders are already using to save time, improve communication, and make better decisions. Helping builders separate AI hype from reality. AI is evolving quickly, but builders don't need to chase every new technology. They need trusted guidance on where AI creates measurable value today and how to adopt it without disrupting their business. That's where this partnership comes in. Together, Digs and The Build Show Network will create educational content that explores topics including: * AI applications delivering measurable results for builders * The hidden cost of disconnected project information * Reducing rework through better collaboration * Improving estimating with AI-powered takeoffs * Creating better homeowner experiences through digital handoff * Why warranty and aftercare are becoming competitive differentiators * Practical strategies for adopting AI at any size of building company Whether through podcasts, product demonstrations, educational videos, or live events, its goal is simple: help builders understand what works and why. Looking ahead. Residential construction is entering a new era where information will become just as valuable as materials, labor, and equipment. Builders who can quickly access project knowledge, improve collaboration, and deliver better homeowner experiences will be better positioned to grow their businesses and remain competitive. Digs Inc. is excited to partner with Matt Risinger and The Build Show Network to help builders navigate that future with confidence. This is just the beginning. Digs named a top innovator in Architecture by Fast Company. Digs Inc. is thrilled to share that Digs has been named a top honoree in the Architecture category on Fast Company's 2026 Most Innovative Companies list. This prestigious recognition highlights businesses that are shaping industries and culture through groundbreaking ideas, and Digs is proud to be among them. Fast Company's list not only celebrates the world's 50 most innovative companies but also recognizes 720 honorees across 59 sectors and regions. As Brendan Vaughan, Fast Company's editor-in-chief, puts it: "Our list of the Most Innovative Companies is about spotlighting organizations that don't just adapt to change. They drive it. The companies we honor this year are redefining what leadership looks like in 2026, pairing bold ideas with measurable impact and turning breakthrough innovation into real-world value. They are setting the pace for their industries and offering a blueprint for what sustained innovation can achieve." Revolutionizing collaboration in Architecture, engineering, and construction. Fast Company highlighted Digs for "making collaboration easier for architects, builders, and clients by turning static floor plans into interactive 3D models." Traditional blueprints, while essential for design and construction, can be impenetrable for homeowners and non-specialists. Digs transforms these static, 2D plans into an intuitive 3D workspace where all project stakeholders can collaborate in real time from initial design through construction and post-occupancy maintenance. Beyond 3D visualization, Digs' tools scan and process building interiors, capturing room measurements, materials, appliances, and other assets. This shared visual hub speeds communication, simplifies decision-making, and makes managing a building's long-term maintenance far more intuitive for everyone involved. By turning complex blueprints into accessible, interactive experiences, Digs empowers designers, builders, and homeowners alike, setting a new standard for collaboration, clarity, and efficiency in the built environment.
