Duetto announces partnership with B&B Hotels.

Duetto announces partnership with B&B Hotels. October 16, 2026 SAN FRANCISCO, California - Duetto announced that it has been selected as the revenue management technology partner for B&B Hotels. The deal will see Duetto deployed across B&B Hotels' full portfolio of 930+ properties across 19 countries. Duetto was selected ahead of competing platforms on three criteria: ease of use at scale, performance capability specifically suited to limited-service hotels, and a commitment to listening and evolving alongside its customers. B&B Hotels is also actively evaluating how a more complete view of revenue and profit performance can support its longer-term commercial ambitions. By integrating Duetto's RMS, B&B Hotels will gain a unified view of both total revenue and operational costs. This real-time visibility will allow for dynamic adjustments to pricing and forecasting. Statements from leadership. "As part of our digital transformation, we were looking for a partner that is able to scale alongside us and fully support B&B Hotels in our continued expansion," said David Garcia, Global COO, B&B Hotels. "We chose Duetto after a thorough RFP process as their products aligned closest with what we're trying to achieve. We have a strong focus on profitability across our properties, and this is where Duetto shone as adding the most value. The platform will further support us in delivering our mission to provide the highest value on core essentials for the best price." "B&B Hotels is exactly the kind of enterprise partner that proves what's possible when revenue strategy and profit management work as one - at scale," said Michael Schäffner, chief sales officer, Duetto. "930+ hotels. 19 countries. A business growing fast and determined to make every property perform. We're here to help B&B build a genuine revenue culture across that portfolio - giving every team the tools to price right, forecast accurately, and grow the bottom line."

Duetto named Revenue Management System of the Year at the Travel Daily Media Travel Trade Excellence Awards 2026 - Thailand.

Duetto named Revenue Management System of the Year at the Travel Daily Media Travel Trade Excellence Awards 2026 - Thailand. The company has been redefining hotel revenue management by helping properties move beyond RevPAR and engineer stronger profitability. Duetto was recognised at the Travel Daily Media Travel Trade Excellence Awards 2026 - Thailand as the Revenue Management System of the Year awardee, which highlights its innovative approach to revenue management. The company's strategy moves hotels beyond traditional RevPAR optimisation towards a more holistic view of revenue, performance, and profitability. Revenue only tells half the story. Duetto is helping hotels see the whole picture, and engineer stronger profit. Performance engineering beyond RevPAR Revenue Per Available Room (RevPAR) has been one of the hotel industry's key measures of success for 25 years. However, amidst the changing labour costs, distribution models, and operating environments, RevPAR is now just a vanity metric. To address this, Duetto pioneered performance engineering, a discipline that helps hotels manage revenue, performance, and profit together. It rests on four shifts: dataset, mindset, skillset, and toolset. Hotels look beyond room revenue to total revenue, align teams around profitability, adopt new operating practices, and use technology that links revenue decisions to financial outcomes. Duetto puts this into practice through its Revenue & Profit Operating System (RP-OS). The platform connects pricing, forecasting, group optimisation, loyalty, and profit benchmarking in one system, so hotels can fix what's broken, do more of what works, and make the most profitable decisions every time. Turning revenue insights into profit The impact shows in aggregated data from customers using Duetto and HotStats together, which recorded a 6.8% increase in Gross Operating Profit Per Available Room (GOPPAR) in 2025. Today, Duetto is trusted by more than 20,000 properties in over 100 countries. By bringing revenue and profit decision-making together, the company is helping hoteliers rethink how they measure success and build stronger financial performance in an increasingly complex industry. The Travel Daily Media Travel Trade Excellence Awards - Thailand recognises the pinnacle of excellence in the travel industry across Thailand. With a keen focus on honouring the best hotels, airlines, airports, cruise lines, tour operators and travel agencies, booking platforms, and travel technology, projects, and initiatives, it aims to spotlight key players that consistently redefine industry standards and elevate customer experiences. Duetto buys FLYR's AI that prices rooms without staff.

Duetto buys FLYR's AI that prices rooms without staff. Duetto, owned by GrowthCurve Capital, takes on FLYR's 2,300 hotel properties and its automated pricing engine, two weeks after FLYR's founder resigned as chief executive. No price was disclosed. Duetto, which sells software that tells hotels what to charge for a room, has bought the hotel arm of the airline technology company FLYR. The deal was announced on 8 October, and neither company disclosed a price. What changes hands is a pricing engine and the team behind it. FLYR Hospitality sold an automated system that sets room rates without a human adjusting them, alongside a reporting tool that answers questions typed in ordinary English, instead of requiring someone to build a chart. The unit was never FLYR's own creation. FLYR entered hotel pricing in September 2022 by buying Pace Revenue, a startup that had more than 1,000 hotel customers at the time. The business most recently listed more than 2,300 properties, mostly independent hotels and small chains, with Ennismore and Global Hotel Alliance among the named relationships. Alex Zoghlin, Duetto's chief executive, put the rationale in terms of people and code rather than market share. "We acquired FLYR Hospitality for what its technology and talented team can do," he said, describing the deal as a step towards giving hoteliers a full picture of their commercial performance. Lukas Hughes, chief product officer at FLYR Hospitality, said what had impressed him most was how closely the two companies' views of the industry lined up. Sam Chamberlain, chief product officer at the parent company, said the unit would do better with a team working only on hotels. FLYR pulls back to airlines. The seller's position explains more than the buyer's does. FLYR raised $295M in August 2024, taking its total past $500M, and the hotel business was one of two fronts that money was funding. The fortnight before the sale was turbulent. Alex Mans, who founded FLYR, resigned as chief executive. Kevin Marcus, a partner at the investment firm WestCap and one of the company's main backers, took over on a temporary basis. What remains is the airline business the company started with. FLYR's offer-and-order platform, which decides what fares and extras an airline shows each customer, powers Riyadh Air, and the company is now concentrating on that business. The hotel move always sat oddly, because FLYR had won relatively few airline customers of its own, and Skift called the 2022 entry unexpected at the time. It was stepping into a market where IDeaS and Duetto were already the two established names. The accounts tell another story. Beneath the strategic language sit some filed numbers. The UK entity behind the unit, Prix Ltd, reported an annual loss of £8.55M for 2023. Net liabilities were £9.86M, meaning the company owed more than it owned. The 2024 accounts are listed as overdue at Companies House, the UK register of company filings. FLYR has said all relevant paperwork was filed during the transaction, a claim that rests on the company's word rather than on a public record anyone can yet check. Those figures date from before the most recent trading year, so they describe the position two years ago rather than today. They still frame what Duetto has bought, which is a customer base and an engineering team rather than a profitable operation. Duetto's third deal in three years. The buyer has been assembling rather than building, and this is Duetto's third acquisition in under three years. Micerate came in February 2024, then HotStats in April 2025, a firm that compares hotels' profit figures against each other. Ownership changed in the same period. Affiliates of Warburg Pincus sold Duetto to GrowthCurve Capital in 2024. GrowthCurve invests in businesses it intends to rebuild around data and machine learning. The stated reach has grown sharply across those deals. Duetto's materials described more than 6,000 hotel and casino properties in over 60 countries at the time of the GrowthCurve deal. The company now says more than 20,000 properties use its platform. That jump is worth reading carefully rather than at face value. The later figure arrives after two acquisitions and covers a platform that now includes benchmarking subscribers, so it is not a directly comparable measure of hotels running Duetto's pricing software. Handing pricing to the machine. The product logic behind the deal is about how much control a hotel wants to keep. Duetto's existing tools are built to be configured by a revenue manager, the member of staff who sets room rates, who writes rules and overrides them. FLYR's engine is designed to run without that person. Selling both from one platform lets Duetto cover two kinds of customer. A large chain with a revenue team keeps its hands on the dials, and a 40-room independent with no revenue manager at all can hand the decision over entirely. The second option is the one that carries the risk. A system that moves prices on its own makes commercial decisions with no human checking each one. That is the same question of where an agent's authority ends that arises wherever software is allowed to act rather than advise. Hotels have a particular reason to care. A pricing error does not only cost profit on the rooms sold cheaply; it also feeds the systems that watch competitor rates. One operator's mistake can spread across a local market within days. What the deal does not say. The announcement leaves the practical questions open. Nothing has been published about what the price was, what happens to FLYR Hospitality's staff, or whether its 2,300 properties keep their existing contracts and support arrangements. Nor is there a technical roadmap. Duetto says the two sets of products will sit alongside each other. That can mean a genuine merge of the engines, or two systems sold from one price list while they keep running separately. Customers of an acquired platform usually find out which of those is happening from the release notes. The pattern in this market has been for the acquiring company to keep the smaller product running for a period, then fold its best parts into the main platform and retire the rest. What the deal settles is who owns a customer base FLYR could not develop, and a technology Duetto says will speed up its own AI work. What it leaves for the next year is whether those 2,300 properties stay through the transition, and whether an automated pricing engine built by one company works as well inside another's platform.

Duetto acquires Flyr Hospitality as airline tech firm exits hotel pricing market

Duetto has acquired Flyr Hospitality, the hotel pricing and business intelligence division of airline technology company Flyr. Financial terms were not disclosed. Flyr entered the hotel sector in September 2022 by purchasing Pace Revenue, which had over 1,000 hotel clients. The move surprised industry observers, given Flyr's limited airline customer base at the time. Sam Chamberlain, Flyr's chief product officer, said the unit would benefit from being with a team focused solely on hospitality. Duetto is owned by private equity firm GrowthCurve Capital. The sale follows the recent resignation of Flyr founder Alex Mans as CEO. Kevin Marcus, a partner at WestCap, a major Flyr investor, has taken on an interim role.

Duetto buys FLYR Hospitality to deepen AI-powered hotel revenue and profit platform.

Duetto buys FLYR Hospitality to deepen AI-powered hotel revenue and profit platform. The deal brings real-time automated pricing and plain-language business intelligence into Duetto's Revenue & Profit Operating System while widening product choice for hotel commercial teams. Duetto has acquired FLYR Hospitality and is bringing its AI-first revenue management and business intelligence capabilities into Duetto's Revenue & Profit Operating System. Key takeaways. * Duetto has acquired FLYR Hospitality and will bring its automated revenue management and business intelligence products into the Revenue & Profit Operating System. * FLYR Hospitality's pricing technology models multiple demand scenarios and refreshes prices in real time while its BI tool supports plain-language questions. * The combined product strategy is designed to give hoteliers a choice between highly configurable revenue controls and more automated pricing within the same broader platform. * Existing customers of both companies' products will continue to be supported as FLYR Hospitality's technology and team join Duetto. (NEWS) SAN FRANCISCO, California, United States, 2026-Oct-08 - /Travel PR News/ - Hotel commercial teams are gaining a broader choice of revenue-management models under one technology umbrella after Duetto acquired FLYR Hospitality. The October 8 deal brings FLYR Hospitality's automated revenue-management and business-intelligence products into Duetto's Revenue & Profit Operating System (RP-OS), adding AI-driven pricing and analysis to a platform that already spans forecasting, group business, revenue management and profit benchmarking. The immediate significance for hoteliers is flexibility. Duetto says its own products are designed for highly configurable revenue strategies, while FLYR Hospitality offers a more automated revenue-management system that can update prices in real time. Bringing both approaches into the same broader platform is intended to let operators choose how much hands-on control or automation they want without moving to a different technology provider as their requirements evolve. FLYR Hospitality's pricing engine models multiple demand scenarios rather than relying on a single outcome, improves through reinforcement learning and refreshes rates in real time, according to the companies' acquisition announcement. Its business-intelligence product is designed to answer hotel business questions entered in plain language, reducing the need for users to interpret another dashboard. Those capabilities are set to sit alongside Duetto's existing machine-learning tools and profitability data from HotStats. From room revenue to total commercial performance. The acquisition extends a product strategy Duetto accelerated in April 2025 when it acquired HotStats, adding hotel financial benchmarking to its revenue technology. Duetto subsequently built that combination into RP-OS with the aim of connecting top-line revenue decisions to operating-profit performance. Adding FLYR Hospitality now strengthens what Duetto calls "performance engineering" - an approach focused on using revenue, demand and profitability signals together with explainable recommendations. FLYR Hospitality's reach among independent properties and smaller chains also supports Duetto's stated aim of making enterprise-level revenue and profit tools available across different hotel sizes and operating models. Duetto says its wider platform now serves more than 20,000 properties worldwide across hotels, casinos and resorts. Technology and talent shape the acquisition. Duetto said the acquisition was driven by both FLYR Hospitality's technology and its team. Alex Zoghlin, CEO of Duetto, said combining FLYR Hospitality's pricing science and plain-language business intelligence with Duetto's machine-learning platform and HotStats data would help hoteliers see a fuller picture of commercial performance and act on it. Lukas Hughes, chief product officer of FLYR Hospitality, said the two businesses had closely aligned views on the direction of hotel commercial technology and expected the combination to open a new phase of growth. For customers, Duetto is positioning the expanded portfolio as a choice rather than a single prescribed operating model. Hotels will be able to combine Duetto's configurable products with FLYR Hospitality's automated RMS and business-intelligence tools as their teams, portfolios and commercial strategies change. The companies said existing customers of both product sets will continue to be supported as FLYR Hospitality's technology and talent join Duetto. For revenue leaders, the practical implication is an attempt to bring pricing, forecasting, business intelligence and P&L insight into a more unified commercial environment. The acquisition therefore pushes Duetto further beyond conventional room-revenue management and toward a platform that links revenue decisions with broader hotel profitability.
