New adaptive multi-factor authentication on its client portal. As part of the commitment to delivering best-in-class digital experiences, its client portal, eMoney is modernizing their platform and strengthening the security program in collaboration with Okta, a trusted partner and industry leader in identity management. To further strengthen protection, eMoney has enabled an enhanced Adaptive Multi-Factor Authentication for all users who login directly, adding an additional layer of security that safeguards confidentiality, integrity, and availability of client information while providing seamless, user-friendly access. What's new. * Minor Design Updates: Users signing in with a username and password may notice some subtle changes, including new multi-factor authentication (MFA) requirements and slight design updates. Users who single sign-on (SSO) into eMoney will not experience anything different, as they bypass the login screen. * Initial 2nd Factor Prompt: Regardless of the Adaptive MFA level, all users who login directly will be prompted to reauthenticate themselves via this updated flow and provide a 2nd factor at login initially. This may look like being prompted to enter in a unique code emailed from Okta after entering in your password. Once signed in, you most likely won't be prompted again. Following this update, if you or your clients directly sign-into eMoney with login credentials, an initial prompt to enter your phone number will display. * Phone Number Request: You may be prompted to provide a phone number as a 2nd factor login method. * Improved Risk Mitigation: If you're signing in from an unrecognized location, you may be prompted to provide a 2nd factor when logging in. Additional verification is triggered only when something appears unusual. * Retiring RSA One-time Access Code: Due to low use and its move towards enhanced security standards, Tamarindfinancial is retiring the ability for users to log in using a one-time access code in the event a text message or phone call verification wasn't successful. How does AMFA work? Each time a user logs in, adaptive MFA dynamically evaluates multiple factors to calculate a risk score and determine whether additional authentication via SMS or phone call is necessary. Factors used in this assessment include device type, geographic location, time of access, network and IP reputation, and historical login patterns. Risk levels (low, medium, high) are configured at the firm level and apply uniformly to all users. Protecting clients' data remains its top priority. eMoney introduces enhanced branding updates to Premium Client Portal. One year after launch, firms using Premium Client Portal report higher client engagement and more consistent collaboration as interactive planning capabilities expand RADNOR, Pa. - April 2, 2026 - eMoney Advisor (eMoney), a leading provider of technology solutions and services that help people talk about money, today announced enhancements to its Premium Client Portal, including expanded branding capabilities that allow firms to more fully customize the client experience across web and mobile. The update, which is now live, reflects continued investment in the Premium Client Portal, giving advisors greater control over how their brand is presented throughout the client experience. Firms can now tailor themes, colors, and mobile app icon design, reinforcing firm identity and strengthening their brand experience across client interactions. "Advisors want every part of the client experience to reflect their firm," said Chad Porche, Senior Vice President of Product at eMoney. "These enhancements allow firms to make the portal their own and place their brands in their clients' pockets, while keeping them connected to their financial plans through a seamless mobile experience." The branding updates build on a broader set of capabilities designed to make financial planning more interactive and accessible for clients. Features such as "Plan Explorer" allow clients to model scenarios, adjust goals, and test financial decisions within the advisor's planning framework, while giving advisors clearer visibility into client priorities. Paired with personalized homepages and a mobile app that includes biometric login and push notifications, clients remain connected to their financial plans, fostering deeper financial understanding and more collaborative planning with their advisor. More than 1,600 firms have adopted the Premium Client Portal since it launched one year ago. According to an eMoney survey with users, 82% of firms report improved client engagement, 78% report stronger collaboration, and 61% say the Premium Client Portal has contributed to increased planning activity. The data reflects a shift in how clients engage with the financial planning process. Rather than viewing static information, clients are actively interacting with their financial plans by testing scenarios, adjusting goals, and engaging with advisors between meetings. "The Premium Client Portal is a differentiator that boosts engagement, deepens relationships and offers the mobile experience consumers expect," Porche added. "Advisors are bringing clients into the planning process earlier and keeping them engaged over time as their needs grow and evolve." eMoney has launched CoPlanner, a feature enabling financial advisors to generate comprehensive financial plans in seconds whilst maintaining full control over recommendations. The tool analyses complete client data including income, assets, tax considerations and spending to produce personalised planning actions. Unlike single-variable solvers, CoPlanner assesses clients' full financial pictures to generate multiple strategies. Advisors set parameters for variables such as retirement age and savings changes, then review and modify recommendations before implementation. Developed by eMoney's in-house CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER professionals, the tool uses rules-based logic for transparent, auditable results. Beta testing with over 2,000 users showed up to 48% reduction in plan-building time. CoPlanner will be available across all eMoney planning packages from 25 March, with future updates to include technique-specific reports and client presentations.
