Overview

Egyptian Banks Co. for Technological Advancements (EBC) builds and operates Egypt’s payments infrastructure to connect banks, wallets, merchants and cash points for fast, interoperable transactions. It runs networks such as the 123 Shared Cash Network, the Automatic Clearing House, Meeza Digital, the Meeza National Card Scheme, and the Instant Payment Network, plus the INSTAPAY app that lets consumers access bank accounts for instant transfers. EBC acts as the central hub of the national payments system with state-backed credibility and a multi-rail platform that supports inclusion and a cashless society. Its goal is to be the nucleus of the national payment ecosystem, accelerating electronic payments and advancing financial inclusion nationwide.
