Elite unveils AI-enabled updates to cut law firm reporting time by 50%

Elite has announced major updates to its AI-enabled SaaS platform, 3E, introducing Data Connect and new intelligence and payments capabilities aimed at streamlining law firm financial operations. Data Connect, built on Microsoft Fabric, delivers near real-time operational financial data from 3E directly into firms' existing Microsoft Fabric environments. Pilot customers report the system cuts reporting time by 50% and eliminates previous four-step processes. The updates include Elite Intelligence, an embedded AI capability that accelerates billing by guiding routine review decisions, and enhanced Elite Payments enabling precise routing to multiple operating accounts. The platform's Time feature now applies AI to automatically capture billable minutes spent in Microsoft Teams. Elite's 3E Financials has also embedded country-specific e-invoicing compliance for Belgium and Poland, expanding beyond Australia and New Zealand.

Elite strengthens leadership team with two appointments

Elite strengthens leadership team with two appointments. Elite, the global legal tech SaaS provider, has announced two appointments to support growth over the year ahead. It has appointed Diane Holman as its Chief Human Resources Officer. It also announced the appointment of Kirk Rogers as Head of APAC Sales. Holman joins Elite at a time when the company is looking to scale the business following its acquisition by Francisco Partners in August 2025. Holman will lead Elite's global Human Resources function. She will be responsible for talent acquisition, employee experience, learning and development, total rewards, and organisational effectiveness. She will work with the leadership team to strengthen the culture and ensure that Elite becomes even more attractive to talent. Mark Dorman, Chief Executive Officer, Elite, commented, "Strong people leadership is essential to building a company that can scale successfully. Diane brings the experience and perspective needed to align talent strategy with our business priorities. She will be a critical partner to our leadership team as we strengthen our organisation and continue to invest in our people." APAC is a key market for Elite, and the firm has been boosted with the arrival of Rogers. He will aim to accelerate growth, improve partnerships, and build momentum across the region. Elite is hosting its Vantage user conference in Sydney on 26th March 2026, where it will offer software best practices, legal technology trends, and networking opportunities. Registration is already open. Dornan commented, "APAC is a strategically important region for Elite, and we are seeing meaningful momentum across our customer base. Kirk brings a rare combination of regional leadership, operational depth, and first-hand experience inside a law firm. His appointment reflects our long-term commitment to the region and our belief that strong local leadership is essential to helping law firms scale, modernise, and operate with resilience." Who is Diane Holman? Diane Holman is an accomplished HR executive with extensive experience leading global people organisations in complex and fast-paced environments. Before joining Elite as Chief Human Resources Officer, Diane held senior roles at prominent companies such as GE, Moody's, Wolters Kluwer, Raytheon, and Capgemini, and most recently served as Chief People Officer at Personify Health. Throughout her career, she has been instrumental in strengthening teams, evolving organisational culture, and aligning talent strategies with business objectives to drive growth and engagement. She was Vice Chair and Board member at Western New England University and is also an advisory board member at Airvet. She holds an MBA from Western New England University and a BA in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Diane Holman, Chief Human Resources Officer, Elite, said, "I am excited to join Elite at such a pivotal moment in its journey. Elite's growth and the leadership team's commitment to investing in people immediately stood out. "The company understands that culture and leadership directly shape how we serve law firms, and I look forward to partnering across the business to support teams and help create an environment where people can do their best work for our customers." Who is Kirk Rogers? Rogers joins Elite from Gilchrist Connell, spending 11 years at the Law firm. During his tenure, he rose to Chief Operating Officer. He joined the firm as IT Director and has held technology roles at Raytheon Australia, Thomson Geer, and St George Bank. Rogers holds a Bachelor of Management, Banking & Finance from the University of South Australia. He also has a Master's in Legal Business from the College of Law, Australia. Rogers' appointment demonstrates Elite's commitment to regional growth. Rogers brings years of legal technology experience to the role. He will better understand customer needs, having lived them himself. It is an interesting career change, though, and it will be interesting to see how he builds the team across the region. Kirk Rogers, Head of APAC Sales, Elite, commented, "Elite has a trusted presence in APAC grounded in long-standing customer relationships and a deeply capable local team. This role is about building on that foundation. My focus is to work closely with our customers and teams to help law firms modernise with confidence and meet increasingly complex business demands with the right technology and partnership in place." Enterprise times: what does this mean. Two significant hires for the legal tech firm as it looks to accelerate its growth following the acquisition by Francisco Partners. With Holman's appointment, there is likely to be further growth as she supports Dorman in strengthening his leadership team. Dorman indicates that 2026 is about growth for Elite. In 2025, the firm enjoyed 125% growth in monthly SaaS users. It also completed its hundredth go-live with 3E in the cloud, its financial management application for the legal profession. The platform saw more than $72 billion in billing transactions over the trailing 12 months. The firm hopes to improve that growth in 2026. No doubt there will be more announcements to come in the next few months. Especially with its Vantage user conferences in Sydney and New York in the coming months.

Elite Unveils Premier Technology Partner Program – Interview

Elite has launched a Premier Technology Partner Program, which will be at the centre of a new approval and certification process for third party vendors that integrate with the Elite platform.Speaking to Legal IT Insider, chief product officer Elisabet Hardy said: “This new program enables us to integrate and certify third party integrations so that customers know they can trust them when they connect to those applications in the cloud using 3E or eBillingHub.” We’re told that Premier Technology Partners will be continually tested to ensure ongoing compatibility with Elite products, to ensure a seamless experience for customers.AdvertisementThe three inaugural vendors to join the program are BigHand; Datolite Solutions and Nth Degree Technologies. This builds on the launch of Elite’s Premier Delivery Partner Program last year. Elite’s broader partner program includes more than 60 technology and service providers. Hardy said: “We’re now migrating to a SaaS way of thinking about how to connect the larger ecosystem and that requires a different approach with our APIs. If we work with a partner in this program, we can work hand-in-hand to make sure that the integration is secure, scalable and performant and that it’s going to work well for our customers.”AdvertisementShe added: “This really showcases that there are new ways to partner and operate when you think about it from a customer perspective. If your practice management system is in the cloud and you are using our SaaS platform, you will want reassurance that the integration is performant and secure so you can sleep at night. When customers see a certification badge they will know it has gone through that extra attention and Elite has certified it.”Third parties will of course still be able to use APIs that are not certified.Elite is charging vendors to be part of the program and those costs are standard but include different options around API access. This development is an extension of Elite’s goal to be at the centre of the law firm ecosystem
