Emora Health has launched therapy services for parents to complement its existing children's mental health care. The Austin-based company now offers parents their own licensed clinician, coordinated with their child's care team. The service addresses what Emora calls a "blind spot" in paediatric therapy: children receive treatment for one hour weekly but spend the remaining time at home, where family dynamics can reinforce or undermine progress. Parents receive their own goals and virtual sessions whilst their children continue separate treatment. Founded in 2023, Emora operates across 11 US states and accepts most major insurance plans, with 90% of clients paying $30 or less per session. The company serves over 5,000 families and offers care in nine languages for conditions including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and autism. The launch simplifies referrals, allowing paediatricians and school counsellors to refer entire families through a single process.
