Engineered Materials Solutions

Manufactures Thermostatic Bimetals for temperature regulation

Overview

EMS specializes in making Thermostatic Bimetals, which are metal strips that bend when temperature changes to regulate circuits. They offer over 100 unique bimetal designs tailored to specific needs and serve manufacturers in both household appliance and industrial sectors. These bimetals are used in devices like wall thermostats, water heaters, gas meters, and steam traps to control temperature reliably. The product works by leveraging different expansion rates of two metals bonded together, causing bending with temperature changes to open or close switches or valves. EMS differentiates itself through a focus on quality and safety, delivering cost-effective, reliable components that improve performance of temperature-dependent devices. The company’s goal is to provide affordable temperature-regulation solutions that enhance efficiency, safety, and reliability for its customers.
