Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • Envoy launched Screens in 2026 and Response in August 2026, expanding security revenue.
  • May and June 2026 releases improved audit trails, emergency notifications, and workplace intelligence.
  • Hybrid-office complexity keeps buyers spending on compliance, visitor control, and emergency response automation.

What critics are saying

  • Skedda and YAROOMS advertise lower, bundled pricing that pressures Envoy’s module-based revenue model.
  • Envoy’s 2025 layoffs and 2026 sales leadership changes signal operational churn and go-to-market strain.
  • If workplace demand softens, Envoy’s security-and-RTO narrative loses urgency and platform differentiation.

What makes Envoy unique

  • Envoy unifies visitors, reservations, deliveries, screens, and emergency notifications in one system.
  • Its real-time presence data ties workplace operations directly to security and compliance workflows.
  • Envoy’s installed base spans 13,000+ locations, including Slack, Asana, Pinterest, and Warby Parker.

Envoy launches AI threat intelligence platform to improve workplace safety after survey shows 74% of US workers have skipped work over hazards

Envoy has launched Envoy Response, a system integrating AI-analysed threat intelligence with incident management for workplace security. The platform connects real-time presence data with threat detection, enabling security teams to identify risks, manage responses, and account for affected personnel. The system uses AI to scan and prioritise threat signals from global sources, including weather, crime, civil unrest, and transport disruptions. It displays relevant alerts in a unified dashboard covering all company locations worldwide. A July 2026 Envoy survey of 1,000 US employees found 74% had avoided work due to hazardous conditions, whilst 56% had felt unsafe at work. The platform addresses gaps in existing security systems by tracking visitors and contractors alongside employees. The Minnesota Twins participated in the beta programme, using Envoy Response at Target Field stadium. More than 16,000 workplaces globally use Envoy's workplace management platform.
