Talani Stiff, Created: Jul 10, 2026, Last modified: Jul 10, 2026 Thirty students complete the GCTA HVAC/Heat Pump Installation Technician program, building local capacity to train the next generation of clean energy workers Everblue celebrated the graduation of its second cohort of the GCTA HVAC/Heat Pump Installation Technician program at a ceremony hosted by Goodwill Industries of Upstate/Midlands South Carolina (GIUMSC) in Columbia, South Carolina. The program is part of the Goodwill Clean Tech Accelerator (GCTA), which prepares individuals for careers in clean energy and skilled trades. This milestone brings the total number of program graduates to 30 students across two cohorts and marks a turning point for the program's long-term sustainability in the region. Deondria Durham and Markus Parker earned the certifications required to independently teach the GCTA HVAC/Heat Pump Installation Technician course, establishing local instructional capacity for future cohorts. By developing local instructors, Everblue helped Goodwill build the capacity to continue training future cohorts in Columbia long after the initial program launch. BALTIMORE - June 13, 2023 - PRLog -- The Maryland Department of Agriculture will introduce the option of online pesticide certification exams through a partnership with Everblue, an innovative technology company that specializes in digitizing and automating processes.Using Everblue's proprietary registration and test delivery system, certification candidates will be able to register online for their state pesticide exam and will be immediately enrolled into their on-demand tests. After doing a systems check of their computer, a candidate will be able to complete their licensure exam from home.Prior to this partnership, candidates were required to test in person and choose from scheduled test dates that occurred every other month. The digitization of exam content, coupled with the on-demand delivery, will provide greater convenience, access, and flexibility for exam candidates."Our goal is to simplify the certification process, improve efficiency, and generally provide a better user experience," said Chris Boggiano, president of Everblue.
